First time there and what I love is the authenticity of the food ! It gave me and my mum a true incite to the punjabi culture just through the food ! ! The service is amazing, and the food itself was full of different flavours and spices which all complimented each dish perfectly. We had a chat with the owners who took out time to come check how our experience was and what lovely people they are too ! I'll give this a 10/10 based on my experience there tonight. Never eaten punjabi food before but I shall be eating it again! Very clean modern, smart interior, air con that works was a blessing tonight. We had a lovely time here last night for my friends birthday. The food was delicious. I'm Punjabi and I can definitely say the food was authentic, so tasty and the right balance of spices and flavourings. I will definitely be back with my friends and family, so proud of a Punjabi restaurant being down the road from me, makes a pleasant change eating authentic Indian food compared to the typical high street indian restaurants. My husband and I visited the Tandoori Lounge for the 4th time and again was not disappointed the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, they always offer to help with selections, asked if everything is ok and pay attention. We sampled masala poppadums, best poppodums ever with a topping thro tongue tingles after with the chilllies... �Chilli and garlic Mogo, lovely cassava cooked in amazing sauce, followed by Punjabi chicken Karaji, lamb biryani and Raseelay alllo which we shared. Ate here with friends last Friday and can't wait to come again! First visit to this restaurant & absolutely loved it. The Owner &Staff are lovely. The dishes can be spiced up or down depending on the individual requirements. Very accommodating & knowledgeable about the dishes. We all had different choices & shared them between us.., amazing & delicious
Salmon tikka was my favourite but all the dishes wonderfully tasty, Drinks & food very reasonably priced & excellent quality.

I wanted to try and leave a constructive review. Booking for New Year’s Eve the staff were so lovely and helpful gave a great first impression. Decor and interior is stunning really modern but cosy and clean, really lovely. Seated and offered drinks straight away service great for New Year’s Eve night. Popadoms in different varieties really nice, starters really good. We spent £90 on champagne only comment would be an actual ice bucket would be a good touch or the champagne served slightly colder. Was not served cold enough. The mains for us as vegetarian and vegan were ok. Was looking for just some kind of vegetable curry, just vegetables in a sauce so we ordered vegetable biryani. We ordered 2 as my dad wanted that too, ordered a chickpea dish, potatoes, bread ect. The most disappointing thing was the biryani was served as a bowl of rice and a side dish of raita (which no good for a vegan and was made clear they were vegan would have expected an alternative sauce) No sauce or curry come with it. I was told this is the way they serve this as it’s a Punjabi restaurant which is absolutely fine and the staff asked my dad if he’d like a curry sauce to be done and he said yes. The bowl of rice with small vegetables in is priced £9.95, so for 2 bowls of rice we paid £19.90!!!!! I was shocked. Never one to moan about prices I’m very laid back but I was taken aback at nearly £20 for 2 bowls of rice. Then we was also charged for 2 curry sauces, we only said yes to one and felt they shouldn’t of been added so that was another £7.90 for 2 tiny pots of sauce. So £13.90 for literally a bowl of rice and a smal dish of sauce. It’s annoying as I now wouldn’t return but I’m sure for people who eat meat it might be better value. I’m Glad we tried here but personally for vegetarians and vegans it’s extremely overpriced for hornchurch town centre But wouldnt discourage anyone giving it a try More...
