Hello Karen, thanks for your feedback which is appreciated. As mentioned on our website, all cleaners are self employed and customers can pay the cleaner as much as they like, and a number of them do, we have customers paying their cleaner between £10 and £15 per hour, but in fairness, our clients aren't millionaires so the majority pay the cleaner what they believe is fair and equitable, and of course, what they feel they can afford, but ultimately, and legally, the customer - not us - has complete control as to how much they want the cleaner to be paid. As to our charge, our weekly Management Fee is only £2 per hour and the fortnightly is £2.95 ph, the latter figure reflecting the fact that fortnightly cleans can be harder to source because most cleaners prefer regular weekly income and therefore this involves more work on our part in having to contact more cleaners in order to find a suitable individual, plus our £2,000,000 Public Liability Insurance policy has to be paid every week, even if the cleaner only works every other week. Not forgetting that even the £2.95 hourly rate is genuinely one of the lowest introduction agency rates available. We could list 17 competitors who charge gross rates of between £12 to £18 per hour and who pay their cleaner (as an employee) between £7.50 and £8 per hour and their Management Fee or gross profit is therefore between £4 and £10 per hour (in round figures) which amounts to considerably more than what we charge in percentage terms. Not forgetting that (as far as we know) we are also the only company who guarantee in our Terms and Conditions that only the cleaner's hourly rate will ever increase - our Management Fee is guaranteed to never increase no matter how long a customer remains with us. We have more than 50% of our customers who have been with us for more than 10 years and are still only paying the Management Fee in force a decade ago. We also offer all weekly and fortnightly customer's cost price, additional hours every quarter at £8 ph where they pay the cleaner, but our Management Fee is waived. Allied to the fact that we're also Trading Standards verified and we have personally had our standards confirmed by Checked and Vetted for our customer's peace of mind (one of very few cleaning companies to have done so) we therefore sincerely believe that there is not one other North East based major introduction cleaning company that offers all of the above mentioned benefits for the £2 or £2.95 hourly Management Fee that we charge. Indeed, the many companies who charge more than us, generally speaking, offer less than ourselves in terms of benefits. Apologies for the long reply, however the points you raised were perfectly proper to mention and deserved a full response for the sake of clarity in order to lay out in black and white what we offer in comparison to many others and to hopefully show that we believe our customers are offered one of the best value services in the region.
