While at school I knew I needed to work hard to have as many career options as I could. I was determined to pass Maths GCSE and with LTC’s help, support and encouragement I did! Passing my Maths GCSE gave me a great deal of confidence and allowed me to continue my education. Now, 7 years on I’ve graduated as a nurse from Oxford Brookes University with a first class honours degree and have a challenging but fulfilling role in A&E. I will continue to develop my skills and experience in this dynamic environment and I’m so grateful to STC for starting me off on this career path. More...

Professional, courteous, friendly and welcoming to us all. Before tutoring I was struggling massively with maths and was getting as low as grade 1 when taking tests in school and had no faith in myself for passing maths in my GCSE. Half a year later of 1 to 1 sessions I collected my GCSE results and was ecstatic to see I had achieved a grade 5 in maths.
