I had the opportunity to attend a few lap swim sessions while in the area. The facility was great, the water was clean, yet not over chlorinated and the temperature was perfect for a great workout. I would definitely return.

Swim Mac is an impeccable swim program which promotes good health, comradery, competition, fun, and family time. I'm in my mid-30s and just got the courage to learn to swim. I am receiving private lessons from a wonderful SwimMac instructor, Ms. Martha at Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics Center. For years, I have literally been scared to death of swimming. After taking lessons with Ms. Martha, I have overcome my fears. She made me feel very comfortable in the water. She is very knowledgeable of various swim techniques and always remained patient with me during each session. She's not only my instructor but she is my cheerleader too! The SwimMAC program is the top swim program in the country by the entity of USA Swimming and trains athletes well. As a swimmer I have had many positive experiences as a swimmer here and have been swimming for the past 7 years. Nothing special or fancy here. Fast/deep pool. Obviously a great, nationally recognized swim program. Swim shop inside with medium retail pricing. They have a good supply of cheaper practice suits.Place is busy when kids are at swim practice mostly after school. Other times during the day it is less busy with homeschool programs and kids from the nearby school. No phone contact because there is no staffed front desk and because it's a club. Email them from the website and the person in charge of your program will contact you. This place is popular and classes fill quickly. Overall it has been a good value for our family.
