Sweetheart cakes

Lovely tea in beautiful cups and plates. Cakes were great too. I recommend cheese and red velvet. A bit pricey.

Locale molto carino. La fetta di dolce era molto grande, così come anche la cioccolata calda. I prezzi sono leggermente alti, in rapporto alla qualità, che comunque è buona.

Seems to be a recurring theme, having read other reviews. Whilst the cake I had was tasty, the staff and their lack of manners or common courteous for customers really put me off. Having ordered two drinks, only one arrived. When we mentioned this, the first thing the waitress did was to curtly say "You need to pay for the second one then" - No apology, no manners. Following on from that, the second drink came, only for it to be the wrong one. Again, had to point this out, and once more, no apology nor any contrition from the waitress. I make a point of being polite and explaining what had gone wrong with the order, if this happens in other places. I was just bowled over by the lack of care that came from the waitress, it did nothing to endear the cafe to me. I would recommend searching for places elsewhere that have better customer service.I would like to say, that despite the 1 star review, that is only reflective of the level of service. The cake itself was very tasty.EDIT - I was spoken to by the manager, who I emailed. They apologised and resolved the issue, so I have amended my original review from 1 to 4 stars. More...

Five stars for the quality of cake, coffee and service especially because it is a very little shop with low ceilings and loads of people, it is seldom free especially on weekends. If you prefer less sweet cakes, or ones that are sweetened with natural sweeteners, this is not the place for you. However there is a vegan and gluten free chocolate apricot cake, so there are options for certain allergies.

The cakes are high and layered, like those of the hummingbird cafe but much much much better and less synthetic tasting.

The red velvet cake was filled with delicious blueberry jam but again this cake is on the sweet sweet side, heaven for those with a severely sweet tooth!

I can recommend the pistachio cheese cake, with a perfect biscuit crumb. Very good espresso better than standard cafes and also an array of soft drinks available. More...

Avoid this place in case you have sweet tooth! Absolutely amazing cozy and lovely place, that gives you feel like you are having tea in Wonderland.
Downstairs in Covent Garden London is this little bakery, where you can taste various types of desserts. I tried nutella-cheesecake. Perfectly baked, perfect temperature and perfect one portion for 2 adults :)
You can sit inside, but the place is very small, even the ceiling. But there are tables outside as well.

I don´t know how the hell are they making such a great taste, but after I fell into a sugar-coma all questions disappeared. 5 stars out of 5 More...

Such as cute lovely little café! Really quirky inside! Offered a variety of drinks and cakes (for those with a sweet tooth) The staff were friendly and happy, it was busy and everyone seemed so happy to be in there! Was a lovely atmosphere!
