SWC provided a first class level of service.
Following an initial discussion with Dan Jarret, he collected the computer hardware on a Friday morning and worked over the weekend to recover data from a failed hard-drive with minimal information loss. The saved files were returned to us on a new external hard-drive on the Monday morning so that we could continue work with no interruptions.
SWC Services provided us with a fee quotation that was fair and realistic and undertook the work in a very professional manner. Amazing IT Support Services in the Vale of Glamorgan. I have been using Dan and his It services for nearly 6 months now. He has undergone IT Repairs, Network installation, Given Advice and guidance on GDPR, Security and implemented new software and more secure systems for my business. He has helped me resolve a hacked website. Worked on switching Hosting providers and implemented a smooth changeover for my website.
Dan is an absolute whizz when it comes to all IT and computer related problems for small businesses in the Cardiff, Swansea and vale of Glamorgan areas. I highly reccomend his local It support services to anyone needing them on a private, commercial, business or freelance basis.

Diagnostics report on my Dell XPS laptop showed a probable hard drive failure. This was my first experience of a drive failure. Fortunately I'd kept a leaflet from SWC Services so contacted them. I delivered the laptop to Dan Jarrett at Llantwit Major who quoted me what seemed a reasonable cost for confirming the diagnosis and replacing the drive. He did so and returned the laptop to me within a few days at the quoted cost. Having employed numerous computer/software engineers during my career (now retired) I am most impressed by the competence and efficiency of SWC Services and will definitely use them again when necessary. There aren't enough stars to rate Dan at SWC Services. It's great to find someone who really knows their craft, but it's really rare to find someone who promptly answers every phone call, replies to every message query, turns up absolutely on time, at a time to suit you, cleans up after themselves, is polite, friendly, chatty and knowledgeable, and sticks to their quote even when things get a bit fiddly and some alternative problem solving is required. Last week my SD card in my phone crashed....I lost ALL pics and videos from the last 4 years...literally over 10,000 pics and 800 videos I hadn't backed them up anywhere as to be honest im not techy and i thought having them all on 1 sd card was for the best I was literally devastated! Anyhow after putting out a desperate plea for help finding my pics I was recommended SWC services! Well he hasn't only restored them all, he has backed them up too and helped me by recommending products (hard drive, laptop) when I've asked for the advice. He couldn't do enough to help me to be honest so I want to recommend him to anyone else that may need ANY technical help at all. This week my laptop completely broke- hard drive was absolutely knackered. Firstly, SWC Services were the only people who answered my call on a Sunday when I was freaking out trying to get my laptop fixed. Not only did I get regular updates on my laptop throughout the week but Dan was great! He brought my laptop back and it had another problem when we powered it up so he took it back and repaired it again. Then he stayed to help me install any additional programs. Thought I'd lost my whole digital existence for the past 20 years. I transferred all my files to a new hard disk last year only to try to access it last week to discover it wouldn't boot up in any computer.
