I just visited the store for the first time. My daughter Amy bought me a pimento cheese flatbread once and it was the best I have ever had. I got some today and oh it was so good. If you don't have time to meal plan, grocery shop, and cook a full on home cooked meal but are still looking for the home cooked experience, this is your place! We have had such a variety of different meals and all have been delicious. This place is the perfect filler of our fridge for quick weekday cooking with all the love a picky chef would inject into a meal, without the time commitment neccesary. This food is all delicious and fresh, but favorites are flank steak and Asian ribs and amazing pasta dishes. Great variety, and the prices are amazing for the quality. This is a great place to pick up something healthy and delicious for supper. The freezers are stocked with a variety of dishes to take home and cook. And not just your typical casseroles! We are pretty picky eaters and I love that I can find dishes with fresh ingredients that I can pronounce! They always have breakfast items too. This is the best sandwich & soup shop in town. I have eatten here for years and I'm crazing this food about once a week. My favorite sandwich is the Don Ho'nini and the best soup ever is the Red Roasted Pepper ! I've taken clients there and when they are back in town, they ask to go there again. If you haven't been here, you have got to try it.And oh yea, they have some of the best entrees that are made there in the restaurant. Super Suppers catered our wedding and we were VERY pleased. Their business model is two-fold. They have frozen foods available for pick-up for customers, and they also run a catering business. We worked very closely with the owner, Davena, who recommended a delicious, creative menu to incorporate my husband's Caribbean background and my Southern roots. She invited us in for a tasting, and went above and beyond our expectations. Everything was prepared beautifully!!! The flavor was excellent. And her personality is truly warm and caring. We did not initially plan on having any desserts (aside from cake) at our wedding, but when we later decided to add them to the menu, she welcomed us back in for another tasting for desserts. I expected maybe two or three options, but she brought us SIX, and each was so delicious that it made our choice really difficult. She places an emphasis on sourcing local and seasonal ingredients, which was important to us & which ultimately helps your budget! And her prices were also very reasonable. She is the ultimate professional and a pleasure to work with. When I realized, 3 days before the wedding, that we still did not have a cake topper, Davena told me that she would take care of it. She ordered it for us on Amazon with 2-day delivery and brought it with her to the wedding venue. Knowing that I could leave these sorts of details in her hands and that she would take care of it was such a relief to a busy bride!! At the wedding, one of the children accidentally broke one of her vases and started crying. Recognizing that this little girl was embarrassed, she rushed to talk to her & assure her that it was okay and try to make her laugh. That's the perfect example of how gracious and kind she is. I really cannot say enough good things about this business. They exceeded our expectations in every way and made our wedding day a happy celebration.As for recommendations, the berry lemonade is delicious. The sweet potato chicken satay is a MUST!!! We attended a conference in Montgomery a week ago and the event was catered by Super Suppers. It was amazing! Every bite was delicious, fresh, and served with love. The spinach, fig, blue cheese salad was wonderful. The sesame noodles and lentil-spinach salad was so tasty , it was hard to stop eating. (It was a buffet) The chicken was cooked to perfection and the desserts were perfect.I wish they were in Nashville!So, if you are in Montgomery, be sure to go to Super Suppers on Vaughn Rd. Phemie and the gang at Super Suppers take the guesswork out of making an incredible dinner, whether it's for a special occasion or you simply don't feel like cooking that day. They prepare an extremely large variety of main courses and side dishes, most of which you simply have to stick in the oven for a little while before serving. Imagine the taste of a five star restaurant, with the convenience of a fast food restaurant, and the simple pleasure of a home cooked meal...and you have Super Suppers.I recently let Super Suppers prepare my entire Thanksgiving meal, and I couldn't have been happier. The turkey was simply the best tasting and most tender turkey that I've ever had. The mashed potato casserole is out of this world. The cream style corn with green chiles is amazing. Quite honestly, every single dish that I've ever gotten from Super Suppers has been amazing. My favorite dishes have been the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, the crispy onion chicken, and the supreme mashed potato casserole. I've even gotten my Dad a pecan pie from there...and trust me when I say that he is the biggest food critic in the world...and he absolutely loved it! Super Suppers has really helped my family out. We joined their Super Club and get 6 homemade frozen meals a month at a reduced cost (normal is about $15 for a main dish that feeds 3). It's not as cheap as cooking from scratch, but it's cheaper than eating out. It's nice to come home and have an easy meal to put together. Everything we've had so far is good. Personally I prefer the soups and things that don't need much added to make a full meal. We just had a moroccan chicken soup that was very tasty. The scones are SO good. I've been trying to do the South Beach Diet and they have lots of options that work with that(not the scones :)). More...
