Not what I expected the place is very messy and could do with a good clean-up and stables painted. Sky a girl there is not a nice person shouting at people at the yard

Booking was smooth with no issues and was able to fill us in at short notice. manager was very welcoming and put us all at ease straight away. it is a family run business and our family was made to feel part of there’s from the off. Loved the day watching and partaking in the activities on offer and it was a great birthday treat for my partner. All the workers there have a great spirit and a love for the horses they work with and this was reflected with the trust and experience the horses gave us. I've watched this school develop over the last couple of years under new owner Kim's stewardship and transform from what was not much more than a pony ride operation to a proper riding school, but without airs and graces. Instruction is well structured with clear progression and I doubt that there's a more enthusiastic instructor in the country than Shannon! More...

I went on a long hack with a stop over at a lovely pub for lunch. The horse i was given was a pony called spot, which was very well-behaved and easy to handle even when we were out and about. The countryside around the stable is very beautiful and not busy at all, giving us the chance to trot and canter without having to worry about people or dogs. The Supervisor was very friendly and chatty and even though it was just the two of us, I wasn't bored at all. All in all one of the best hacks i've been to. More...
