Just collected and set up our new PC. Its fantastic. Customised to our specification by Mike Whitehouse at Sunderland Computer Repairs. The process was very straightforward. Mike listened to what we required and helped us focus on our requirements. He helped us to explore all possibilities from a laptop to a small customised desktop. The latter was more suited my wife's preferences: regarding keyboard, mouse and screen. The resulting PC has a solid state drive that boots in no time and there's plenty of room on the 1Tb hard drive for all or photos.The whole build was documented with regular videos of progress.We would not hesitate to recommend Mike for advice for all your computer needs. I had experienced problems with my Asus laptop because my adaptor wasn't charging properly and as a result, my laptop crashed and seemed dead. I was panicking like crazy so I started searching for repair shops. I came across Mike's website and I felt like I could trust them and the services they provided. And I was right to follow my gut. Absolutely fab service from Mike at Sunderland Computer Repairs! Took my MacBook in there after being quoted almost £250 by Apple for a repair. Mike knew straight away what was wrong with it and quoted me £114. Took it in on the Friday and it was ready to pick up on the Monday morning! Mike managed to fix a not too obvious problem with my Microsoft Office Outlook. The problem was rectified over night and my laptop was ready to collect the following morning. Mike explained what was wrong and how it was fixed. This was a big problem for me as i needed access to my emails for work. Mike and Kernan are true IT wizards. The laptop I brought in was most certainly ‘done and dusted’, however, they brought it back to life.

As a computing novice, I was so used to my clunky Compaq and wasn’t willing to part with my trusty old friend, despite having a new (and more advanced alternative) laptop.

I couldn’t recommend this company enough; they are top drawer.

I found this repair shop online, desperately needing my laptop sorting out for my business as it was very slow and full of problems, viruses etc.
Hat can I say, Mike was amazing! He immediately puts you at ease and makes you realise ypuve gone to the right place. He has sorted it all out in no time at all, and it's now working perfectly!

Now I like the best things that life brings.I was looking for a Computer shop to build a decent system for doing my photographs on. I tried everyone in the area and no one came up to the required standard.Then I phoned SCR shop and spoke with Mike. He is a straight talking, polite and helpful guy. He took note of my requirements and put together a package to suit my needs.To be honest I liked Mikes approach so much I even upgraded to a higher spec build as he instilled confidence from the start.Everything was simple from ordering to having the computer delivered.If you need a new computer or a repair then call Mike it is well worth the time to speak with him.Remember that I have done the leg work and phone calls to other shops but no one even came close to what Mike can offer. I googled for a repair shop to get viruses off my laptop. I couldnt go on the web without the whole thing sieizing up. I rang Mike and he got me to take it in. He was very patient explaining what the problem was and lived up to the other reviews not talking down to me. A few days later he texted me and I was delighted at the result!
