Avoid, absolute nightmare! Great reviews as the public see the end result and think it looks great as did we until it was highlighted to us by our builder of the many faults with the installation. No vents fitted, lack of membrane, board joints sealed which they mustn't be. Ends of boards not painted which leaves them vulnerable to rain damage. All of this invalidated the warranty! James Hardi were great and came out to do an inspection. They sent a written report to myself and the company owner. He didn't even bother sending it on to his fitters. I had to go through it with them. They returned unaware of the list of faults and remedial works required. He said he had arranged for the supplier rep to attend site with the fitters, the rep knew nothing about it so i had to make arrangements myself. All of the cladding needed to be removed and done again. The attitude and communication from Steve the owner was sheer arrogance. He stated we were happy with the installation, yes of course as we had no idea of all the errors until pointed out to us. If you have had an installation from this company get an independent review by James Hardi. They will have installed all other jobs the same way which means warranties are invalidated. All credit to our fitters lovely guys who were only following the poor training they had been given. The owner saw the installation completed, he made no comment about all the errors, so either he was happy to cut corners or not aware of correct installation procedures. More...

would not go near this company, they damaged a lot of my rendering while replacing soffits and guttering and they asked me for £560 to repair it when i refused they said thy would send someone to fill in the damage and paint it, the man they sent told me he was actualy a roofer, and all he done was paint over the damaged rendering and the painting was badly done, Paid cash and didn't hear from them again. Very unprofesional.

Summit Cladding rejects Mr Murphy's negative review, which is not an accurate account of the facts. Mr Murphy was fully aware of the condition of the render on his property before we started the installation. We sent a team of specialist renderers to inspect the pebble dash coating, which was 60 years old, and advised that it should all be removed because of its poor condition. We advised Mr Murphy of the likely cost but he declined this option, so we offered that one of our tradesmen could carry out a patch repair while the scaffolding was still up on his property -- entirely free of charge. Summit Cladding went above and beyond the original schedule on Mr Murphy's behalf and is extremely disappointed that he has chosen to publish unfair and inaccurate comments.

I would highly recommend these guys. We spent ages looking for a company to install a door canopy and when we come across summit cladding we could tell they were at the top of there game.
From the 1st home visit from Steve to the installation I cannot fault them one bit.
Steve was helpful and professional, he had a fantastic portfolio of previous work his guys have carried out and helped us make the right decisions regarding the size, tile colour and lighting. His quote was very competitive with others we previously had.
The fitters who installed the canopy were great, every aspect off the installation was to a very high standard and after they had finished they left their workplace spotless.
We will be getting our guttering and facias done by these in the very near future.

Summit Cladding did a fantastic job of sorting out the cladding on my house and of carrying out other repairs to the fascias, tiling and guttering which my builders had made a real hash of! But all was fixed after arranging with Steve, he was very reassuring and met me in person to go through the services and what could be done to resolve the situation including leaks coming into the property. Prior to hiring Steve and his team we had been in contact with a number of other companies and got a number of quotes. However, we felt no one really understood what was needed and could give us a clear plan, budget and timescale.
