"Leslie of Sugar Up Sugar made these cakes for my birthday. I gotta tell you I'm not really into cakes. However, I was grateful for the thought and effort. Honestly, once I took the the first bite I was very pleasantly surprised! This was the best cake I've tasted in a long time. So many times I simply taste sugar and this cake had this great sense of moisture, full flavor, as well as sweet decor. Leslie made my bridal shower cake for this past weekend, and it was to DIE for. Not only did the cake taste wonderful (seriously, one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. ...and I'm a huge dessert person), but you could actually see all the hard work and effort she put into creating it. The attention to detail on the white dress, the lace around the sides of the cake, the gorgeous purple flowers outlining it.... everything was absolute perfection! Leslie is, quite simply, the best.
