I mainly specialise in Family portraits but having worked in the commercial photography sector for 15 years I can also provide hi end product photography.
My style for your portraits would be to go to a location that your family know and love, Ie: the park, beach or just your own back garden.

Malcolm is a fantastic wedding photographer. On the day he was friendly and efficient and we got a lot of cracking pics. We had a mix of official family photos at the church and more relaxed ones from when we were all getting ready in the morning, right through till the first dance. Glad we've got so many lovely photos to remember our special day. More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Patience and experience. I've been in this business for 15 years and with that comes a wealth of knowledge you can only obtain from working day in day out. Instinctively know what works and what doesn't in various conditions is invaluable. Being able to connect with your subject and make them feel at ease is one of the most fundamental building blocks to a natural shot.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Try and describe the perfect image of what you hope to achieve at the end. This will give me a great start to capturing that perfect shot.
What do you love most about your job?
Being in different locations and meeting different people each day.
Why should our clients choose you?
3 years studying photography at Plymouth college of Art And Design followed by 3 years as an apprentice learning the craft from some of the best people in the industry. Couple that with 11 years working for Sotheby's Auction house creating advert shots and doing big evening functions and after sales party's gives me the experience to give you the best possible images .
