Not only does Lorien make the most incredibly beautiful cakes, but they all taste amazing – and she has some of the most interesting flavour options I’ve seen for wedding cakes. The main reason we ended up choosing Lorien to make our wedding cake was because the hubby completely fell in love with the idea of a Neopolitan cake! Unfortunately, we couldn’t have all of the flavours for our cake, but we got to try several in the sample boxes so I can tell you that all of them are incredible. Every single one of them would be amazing for your wedding cake – but we opted for Carrot cake, Neopolitan and Citrus passionfruit. Every single guest had a flavour they loved, and I know a few people took extra cake home with them!

Lorien herself is just so lovely and helpful – I think she responded faster to our messages than anyone else we dealt with for our wedding, and was always willing to help or give advice. She is definitely worth booking as soon as you have a date for your wedding – she’s in high demand, and it’s not hard to see why! More...

Couldn't be more pleased with my daughter's unicorn cake and cupcakes the detail was amazing, the choice of colours and flavours I got to mix and match was great, felt at ease as always had a text to let me know they got delivered in sturdy boxes and tasted amazing everyone complimented on them.

Storybook cakes did my friends baby shower cake, my wedding cake and cookie favors. I was absolutely over the moon with my cake it was everything I imagined and more. It was amazing and one of the most tastiest cake iv ever had, we had three different flavours and each one beautiful. They have been brillant from start to setting up cake on the day. I sent a photo asking if the cake could be made for my daughters 18th, and the cake I collected was everything I wanted and more. It looked far superior to the original photo and tasted amazing. Lorien made my wedding cake and favours. I planned my whole colour scheme for my wedding around the design of the cake, after looking at all the designs Lorien had done I fell in love with rose gold sequins! ! I was very happy with the cake I've ordered for my parents' anniversary. It was very moist, it had plenty of buttercream and everything I asked for and more. Every little detail was appreciated and I will definitely recommend Storeybook Cakes to everyone I know.

Just eaten the most delicious caramel and salted vanilla fudge cupcake from Storeybook Cakes. Think we will be fighting over the rest of the box.
Lovely moist dark chocolate cake, very generously topped with rich caramel buttercream and an amazing tasting hand crafted chunk of fudge sat on top. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something that is both fantastic to look at and to eat big thumbs up from me! More...

We recently have ordered a sample box for our wedding cake. We collected the sample box today and have to say the samples were the nicest we have tasted! !! Had the best Engagement cake this weekend was so amazing! This women's talent is unbelievable, everyone commented how amazing the cake looked and couldn't believe all the flowers were hand made! Lorien made our wedding cake back in July and we LOVED it! Her attention to detail is excellent, and we had so many people comment on how amazing the cake looked and tasted! We had four flavours and they were all delicious. Nothing seemed too much trouble and Lorien was very easy to contact to discuss ideas etc. We would recommend her to everyone! We will soon be on our 5th cake from Lorien and I plan to put in another order again later on in the year! We would not go anywhere else! We’ve had Birthdays and a christening cake - all made to an exceptional standard!
