After losing our son we could not even face organising a headstone as it made things so final. My parents' headstone was terribly dilapidated and in desperate need of refurbishment. Dennis from Stonerite was happy to take the job on, did all the paperwork needed to have the headstone removed from the cemetery, brought it to his workshop, did a fantastic job of making it look brand new again, and returned it to its place. I found Dennis/Stonerite Memorials on the internet after having got 2 quotes from IOW firms, as the graves are on the Island.

Dennis was not only the same price as the lower quote but also open to negotiation, which the Island firms were not. The Island firms made me feel that they were doing me the favour whereas Dennis made me feel that I was a valued customer & that he wanted my business.

Dennis not only did what he said he was going to but also got the graves in place before the anniversary when I asked him if it was possible.

We are very pleased with his work & also his understanding that this is a difficult time for the families concerned.

When I discovered my Great Grandparents' memorial had been removed by the Council in the 1980s, I thought it only right that it was reinstated to ensure their names are there for future generations of the family to visit.
