Fab Hair CutWent to the Stiilo salon for the second time today. Consultation with Gabriella was brilliant, she talked me through every stage of the cut and then did exactly what she said she would. She understood exactly what I was aiming for and what my hair needed and advised me throughout. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I decided to get a new look and cut my long hair and go for shoulder length hair. I went last minute as a walk in with no appointment. They were very nice and friendly. They gladly accepted me and had me wait about 10 min max. The hair dresser Grabiela attended me and she was VERY sweet, she knew exactly what and how I wanted my new look. She asked me if I was sure about my new look and curting so many inches off my long hair; and even asked me again if I wanted to go a bit shorter as I wanted. SHE DID A FANTASTIC JOB. I LOVE MY NEW LOOK. The shampooing and head massage was amazing, I was nearly falling asleep. The way she held and cut my hair was very professional. She then offered to blow dry my hair and then she even wanted to curl it using the thick curling iron. She did an amazing job. My boyfriend gives it a 10 and so does my family who are hair dressers. Not only was Grabiela amazing but her coworkers were also very friendly, I felt the warmth of their kindness when they spoke to me telling me how great and gorgeous I look. I had my first ever hair dye experience in my life today. Saw Google review and decided to come to Stilo. Absolutely friendly and professional phone call, consultation and appointment. I was nervous to begin with but Jess put my mind to ease. I am aware having black hair means the colour might not show very well and I have concerns about bleaching my hair, but Jess explained the process to me patiently. The dip dye result was fabulous (I haven't got any photos myself so please tag me on Facebook, Jess! Thank you!)Stilo is very honest and did not charge me for anything that my hair does not need. They made recommendations to what shampoo and conditioner I should use to maintain my new colour but I did not feel pushed. I will definitely recommend Stilo to anyone! I have been coming to Stilo Hair and Beauty since I moved to Cambridge. I find all the staff friendly and professional and always manage to get an appointment when I need one, they are even open on a Sunday and a couple of late nights so it makes it easier to get an appointment.

After being loyal to my old hairdressers for 6yrs and having an awful last experience with her turning my hair green twice (and with insanely short layers! ).. I was totally put off ever seeing a hairdresser ever again. 5yrs went by and I decided, after moving, I needed to finally find a hairdresser again that I could trust.I found Stilo and saw the excellent reviews and decided to give them a go. I went for a consultation and immediately was greeted by friendly staff at the desk, a nice atmosphere and classy upto date furniture.I chatted with Jonathan about all my worries and hair colour problems and he was FULL of knowledge. He did a strand test and called me later to discuss. He talked me through everything he could do, without any pressure of me booking to do it. Whilst thinking it over, I decided to have a trim and a few long layers put back in my super long flat hair and was appointed to Jazz. She is absolutely fantastic!!!! So friendly, genuinely lovely girl, no prying chitchat about your personal life - like some hairdressers like to do! - but also no awkward silences as Jazz made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She really took the time to make my hair look lovely and the blow dry she game me was truly princess like. As sad as it's sounds it was quite emotional and my eyes welled up seeing my hair looking so lovely after all the troubles I've had with it. I walked and went to do some shopping and received compliments from two compete strangers on my blow dry! I felt absolutely amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend Stilo Nuovo, Jonathan and Jazz are wonderful people and excellent at their jobs.
