Screen Actor

After doing a number of short and feature length films, I have unlocked a new way to express myself and bring to life peoples ideas and dreams, I find taking on a new character, becoming a person, a fun and interesting challenge, one that I am always ready to take on. I have worked a number of times on feature films with the 'British Youth Film Academy' (Who have had their movies appear at the 'Raindance Film Festival') as well as working with colleagues and friends on their own short films. I am happy to take on board Ideas and be a part of the next thing to come my way as acting just makes me happy, most likely as it makes others happy to see the outcome.

A parody of the hit TV show 'Supernatural', I play the role of Gabriel I came into this with little time to prepare, but followed the directors instructions, he was happy with final product. There are some funny moments in this that brought a smile to my face

A music video in which I play the part of a young man named George, the audience is taken on a journey through his story which explains why he is going to his destination. One of my proudest performances, a moving emotional piece, that has brought a tear to the eyes of some who has viewed it.

Lil' 'N' Large

A comedic short, where a long hair me plays a guy looking for a snack but stumbles upon something rather peculiar I was complimented by many people on this performance, as they found it very amusing

Richard II

In this film I play the head servant, this was my first film acting role one which I was very excited to take on. Though I do not speak in this role, my physical acting shone through, and I played my characters nervous attributes very well.

Faust's Growth

My second film with the BYFA, in which I took on a much different role from my previous. I play an angry protester named 'Spider', I feel he was much different from myself or other roles I have taken on stage or screen, but I played him well, though I would have liked to play him angrier, I was told I did a great job with the role

Theatre for Children

In this production I became the musical watchman along side my magical friend, whom, with a puff of magic, helped me to tell the 6 and 7 year old school children our story of "Little Red Riding Hood" (but our story was a little bit different) Our group of 12 actors toured the forum theatre piece to 8 different schools in 5 days, providing an interactive show where the children could help make the correct decisions for Little Red, and after the show was a fun and educational workshops where we delivered our main message of anti-bullying. Fun was had by all and we received positive reviews from both Teachers and Students alike.

Dionysus - The Frogs

I've taken on some big roles before, and this one was no exception. I was selected for the role of Dionysus (The god of drama) This was the first major show during my HND course, it had been a long time since I had performed, after a couple of months of rehearsals the character was ready. It was three days and four shows, each shows audience enjoyed themselves, laugh and had a good time

Nils Bohr - The British Science Festival

During the time between my 2nd year and HND acting for stage and screen course, I was helping some students with their course and was asked if I could step in and take on a role during the 'British science festival', happy to take on the role I agreed. This was a fun experience for my as I got to act alongside people I had not worked with before.

Various cast - Stop that, Its silly

A personal favourite of mine, being a fan of such comedic geniuses such as Monty Python and The Two Ronnies, I was more than excited to have a go at them myself for my college 'Final Major Project'. Along side college friend Dominic Scott, we worked hard on making the best show we could, choosing some of our favourite sketches such as; The argument clinic and Nudge Nudge. The show was a success receiving positive reviews and scoring me top marks for Performing to an audience on my National Diploma. (as well as Rehearsing for performance)

Billy - Billy Liar

As well as the comedy sketch show, Stop that, its silly, I was also involved in another production during my FMP, and that was the main part in Billy Liar. I had to learn the lines along side my main project as well as develop the character. After some time filled with hard work and staying up line learning, I had a character to the directors liking, the show went down brilliantly, enjoyed by friends, family and tutors alike =]

Gregory - Gregory's Girl

As part of a variety show on my first year of college, my tutor thought he would give me a challenge by letting me take on a 2nd role, this was Gregory in Gregory's girl. I took to the challenge and played the part well alongside my Scottish friend Kim, it was a great start to my year.
