Better late than never!!

I just want to thank Steve for capturing the most amazing day of my life. Steve was at our house from 8am and was with us for every moment until the end of the first dance. He has captured every possible emotion and expression there was and gave us a unique glimpse at the day from the perspective of others.

Steve was patient and 100% accommodating in our requests and we couldn't be more happy with the results. We were presented with a lovely wooden box with several small shots during the service which we didn't expect and was a lovely touch.

We have now received all our photos in high res and a lovely keepsake with two of our favorites and a key shaped usb.

We spent months cycling through photographers to find the right combination and we struck gold with Steve.

His compassion, dedication, effort and professionalism is second to none and we look forward to seeing him again in the future.

We were married in Formby Hall in June 2017, We met with many photographers whilst planning our wedding and hired Steve for two reasons, he was a lovely person and we loved his photographic style. Steve was our wedding photographer on 20th May at Formby hall. My husband and I don't really like posing for photos so we wanted someone who would take natural shots throughout the day. Steve was lovely throughout and we enjoyed having him there. The pictures he took are fantastic and we are really pleased with the range of photos and every guest features in them. We had our wedding on the 1st July 2017. The first thing that made us book with with Steve was the offer which he had on at that time which was fantastic. I am not a posing person and Steve made me and my wife at ease on the day with his low profile approach to the wedding we hardly knew he was around. We met up prior to the wedding and also a phone call just before the wedding to go through everything on the day. The first thing I want to say to Steve and Jenna is....WOW.. We met earlier this year (2017) to discuss our wedding memories. One of the nicest guys on the planet gave us all the details we needed and confirmation he was our man to catalogue our love. My wife and I married on 04/12/17 at the amazing Dale Lodge, Grasmere. The day went as smooth as it possibly could have, and what made it so memorable and fabulous is the day was captured with so many truly remarkable photo's or as I call memory makers. We booked Steve to photograph our wedding which took place in September this year at the DoubleTree Liverpool. Steve arrived at our venue at 11. 30 a.m., 3 hours before the ceremony was due to start. Firstly he captured some lovely natural pictures of the bridesmaids and myself as we were getting ready in our room. He then stayed throughout the ceremony and wedding breakfast right up until we had had the first dance, past 8 p.m. Steve has the ability to melt into the background, so much so that we almost forgot he was there. Everyone there was able to relax and be themselves. The following week we were able to view securely online all the photos he had taken. We would recommend Steve not only for his eye for a great picture but also for the documentary style approach he takes. Viewing the slideshow can make you feel like you’re almost re-living the whole day all over again. Having viewed the photos many times now, we have decided that we’d like to order a wedding album from Steve. Having an album full of great images of our special day will be something we will treasure always. More...

Steve has been really great at communicating with us from the get-go. It was a big deal for us to choose a photographer for our wedding, especially as neither of us are very comfortable in front of the camera, but Steve was understanding of our concerns and helped us to feel that we could trust him. He wasn't at all obtrusive on the day, as I think some might have feared he would be, and yet he also managed to capture all the important moments in a very real way. We received a really generous batch of photos in a matter of days after the wedding, and an extra touch was that we were able to watch these in a slideshow presentation which made for a really nice experience as we recalled the day together. We highly recommend Steve Chaplin Photography. The wedding pictures Steve and his partner Jenna took for us are brilliant. They perfectly capture the story of our day, allowing us to relive each special moment we shared with our family and friends. They worked so well together to produce a fantastic collection of photos from different perspectives. We’re weren’t looking for formal photos so Steve’s documentary style suited us really well, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day while he blended into the wedding party taking photographs as the day unfolded.
