What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Understanding the techniques and equipment choices required to tell the appropriate visual story. Each subject requires a unique approach to lighting. Do you want to reveal texture, or hide it? Do you want to enhance size, or reduce it? Do you want the image to be serious in mood, or light hearted? There are many more questions and there is a specific choice that answers each.

What is the purpose or end-use for the photos? Who will be viewing them? What message needs to be conveyed?

Each project is different than the next. I love that I am always being challenged to tell a new visual story.
