I have known each of these individuals on a personal and professional basis.
Recomendations are not one of my strong suits because I feel that if I recomend someone then I must stand behind that recomendation. Stel Builders and its members are first class people with one goal in mind. Build it well, stand by your customer and always walk in intergrity. I highly recomend them for any remodeling project.

We hired Stel for a major remodel of our home in PB. Our family has lived in this house since it was new in the early 1950s so, while we wanted to do a number of updates, we also wanted to maintain some of the character and feel of the original house. Seth and his team quickly and completely understood our requirements, and provided us a design that absolutely blew us away without blowing our budget. Working with the design team was awesome, despite the overwhelming nature of having to pick from an endless range of options. The build process was easier than we thought it would be considering the large project we were about to undertake (full kitchen remodel, addition of a partial second story to include a master suite and laundry room, 2 bathroom remodels, and new paint and flooring throughout the rest of home). Brian, our project manager, was communicative, clear, and on-time. The trades were responsible, respectful, and hard-working. The only significant impacts to the budget and the schedule were ones they warned us could happen (e.g., asbestos and lead abatement), or ones we caused (e.g., picking expensive things). Despite the fact that so many subcontractors and vendors were involved, it never felt like we were working with more than one company - Stel managed all of the communication, payments, and scheduling for everything within their scope. What's more, while Stel was handling many projects besides ours, we never felt like we were waiting on anyone or anything – instead they made us feel like their top priority. Last year, my wife and I hired the Stel Builders team to build us a master suite. We originally started with an 860sf- 2br 1ba home. As you can imagine, it was a little cramped for our family of 4. After sitting down with Seth, the owner, he was able to show us how to utilize the existing space in our large backyard to transform our current living area. Seth was immediately able to visualize how to expand the rear section of our home with minimal interruption to our daily routine during construction. Seth and his team designed a beautiful addition that flows seamlessly with the original layout of our home. I have been working on my own room addition for over a year. I was referred to Seth and when I contacted him at Stel Builders, he put me in touch with everyone that I needed to get the project finished quickly. Seth took the time to come to my home and analyze where I was in my build and put together a plan so I could get it done within a reasonable time. Having an overblown budget already Seth was able to guide me through DIY moments where I could save money by doing things myself. Seth with Stel has always met all of our expectations. We are now working on our 2nd project with them. They have an incredible level of creativity that has been so much fun to work with over the years. Our last project was an addition to accommodate our aging parents on a single level of the home and turned out great, our current project is a remodel that we hope to achieve the same level of quality and design creativity with a smaller budget than before. We offer a full 1 year warranty, along with a 4 year fit-and-finish warrant. On top of that, there is a 10 year structural warranty!

What inspired you to start your own business?
Following closely in his father’s footsteps, Seth got started as an apprentice at the ripe young age of 12. By 18, he was running his own four-man crew and had taken his training to a new level. Throughout college, Seth studied architecture, drafting, design and even real estate appraisal which only fed his passion more. It is no doubt that residential remodeling is in his blood, and his passion for great design coupled with in-depth knowledge of zoning, coastal commission, property taxes (and exemptions), building records, as well as investment and financing makes him a unique and valuable player in the industry.
