My wee dog max loves being filthy and always comes out of Star dogs grooming looking and smelling great. He is not wee manky Max until he has another roll in the mud of course . Full marks Kirsty.

Had my 10 month old Toy Poodle pup Codi in on Thursday.

Not the First time Codi has been to a groomer but the first time using Star Dogs. Kirsty (& Star Dogs Salon) was recommended to us by a mutual friend & I'm so glad that we went to check it out!

Kirsty has an amazing personality that made me feel like we had known each other for several years after chatting to her for 5 minutes. Her love of dogs (any dogs) is unreal (almost to an obsession) I thought I had a unhealthy obsession for dogs but now I know it's a healthy one.

She made us feel at ease and couldn't stop picking Codi up to give him cuddles which he adored, he also took a shine to Star, (Kirsty's 10 year old dog) who has the patience of a saint something you don't see a lot of when there are pups around an older dog & he only had to tell Codi of a couple of times.

I've given Star Dogs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the professionalism to the end result & I will be highly recommending Star Dogs to every other dog owner I meet!

Buffy has been down to Star Dogs a few times now and she always comes out squeaky clean, neatly clipped and fresh as a daisy! Cuddles and grooming from Kirsty in a convenient location. Just back from my first trip to Star with Spikey the shitzu cross. Squeaky clean, very neatly clipped even the difficult bits like his paws. Smells lovely. Spikey loves looking out windows too so the large window in this shop is a winner for the dogs to keep them occupied. A great location for me living in the Abbeyhill Colonies. I took my leonberger, Narla for a full groom whilst on holiday in Scotland. She was rather smelly when we took her in however 2 hours later and she was clean, soft and smelt amazing. Amazing groomers. I went to see Maisie at the Morningside branch. Our spaniel is 7 years old, had never been professionally groomed before, and is nervous of vets/baths/being on tables so I wasn’t sure how he would cope. Maisie was absolutely great with him, clearly knows what she is doing with dogs, and he didn’t seem stressed at all. He looks fabulous too! More...

Star Dogs can't be faulted. Kirsty has a wonderful, relaxed way with dogs. My dog has always been a bit hesitant when it comes to grooming, but Kirsty had him practically eating out of her hand after five minutes. Can't recommend highly enough
