Our dog is 12yrs old and never been in kennels before so we a little concerned about leaving him. We rang whilst on holiday to be told he was fine and settled. We also asked for him to be clipped. We got home to a healthy less hairy dog than we left. He was looking good and seemed fine. Fantastic Cathy and Carl can’t do enough for you and your pets.we have been using them for some time never had any problems. we put 2 cats and 2 dogs in the kennels every time we go away, thanks to Cathy and Carl if they had not spotted one of our cats was Ill whilst we were away they got him to the vet hospital straight away and was in contact with us all the time. My cat Charley has boarded here on 3 occasions, twice in the original smaller part and last week in the newlly refurbished cattery. I can happily award the 5 stars for the facilities now where as before I found the pens a little small though adequate and clean. Theres masses of room for the cats to exercise and play over 2 tiers, and the bedding and all equipment are of excellent quality. The new owners are doing an amazing job in modernising and improving the facilities in the cattery and their pasion for the animals in their care shines through. Having read the poor review from a few weeks ago I can only say my experiences of St Annes have been very different, and particularly now so that the older facilites have been replaced ...Try it and see, I have no hesitation in leaving my much loved little cat Charley there anytime. Great service and lovely new staff. Visited twice now, once last year and last weekend. My cat Billy loved his stay and considering the new owners have only been there 6 months they've done a fabulous job already knocking down the old cattery and replacing it with fantastic new kitty quarters, Billy had so much room, lovely scratch posts and gorgeous cat activity trees. My 2 dogs were booked in for one night as we were attending a wedding, a change of plan meant we had to cancel, despite the fact it was short notice, they did not make a charge, I thought that was very decent of them, thanks again.

I was sceptical when read previous reviews but on inspection, Highly recommended, the new owners have recently totally transformed the cattery, it's now to the highest standard with up to 30ft + square feet of exercise area and 24ft + square footage of raised sleeping area for every pen.
