sSSP Studios is amazing. We used Scott's studio space for a week of interviews. He was incredibly kind and generous, lending us extra equipment, giving us space and privacy and helping out with odds and ends every step of the way. We can't recommend him enough.

This is the best tour i had during my visit to US and Alaska, the reason because of the tour guide himself, Scott is not just a normal tour guides who provides a normal tours, he is a professional photographer who loves the nature of Alaska so he will enjoy doing the tour as much as his customers do thats why he didnt mind to spend more hours with us and didnt rush us during the stops. He also took us to amazing places with fantastic views. Thanks a lot Scott we really enjoyed the tour and took amazing photos. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Its more than just years of learning the craft. It is about taking the time to do it right. Many photographers will rush to get the shot and go to the next client. Our beliefs are that there is always time to do it right! With us you will not be rushed and most often feel relaxed and like family.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Take your time to find that right person you are going to hire. Ask them for references and follow up on them. Ask the references these questions: 1. Was there anything that the photographer did that you did not like? 2. Was there anything that they did that you wished they would have done differently? 3. Did they rush you to make a quick dollar? 4. Did they make you feel like family?
What do you love most about your job?
Simply put it is the customer service. I was voted Best Photography Services in Anchorage. I love getting to meet and know people. Its about being personable with folks and getting them to smile, laugh and have a great time. I work for the client as they don't work for me. I am not on a time clock and will spend the extra hours because it is fun!
What inspired you to start your own business?
For many reasons:
-Meeting people
-Sharing the passion that I have for photography
-Getting the client to have fun
-Customer Service
