May 17, 2017 I had a freak accident at home resulting in a comminuted spiral fracture of my left femur. This required surgery complete with full rod and several pins to put me back together again. After nearly 60 days in a Greenville Rehab I was released to home with in-home "rehab". I realized I was making NO progress so my surgeon sent me to SSI Greer in July 2017. A year later I am still in therapy due to very slow bone growth. I am also a gym member with my husband! I have no words to adequately express my gratitude to Erin, Chris, Karly, Gail, Michael and others who have helped to lift my spirits and helped me realize my best self during this season of my life. SSI has been great! I have been a member of a few health clubs over the past years and this one has finally met my needs. Aside from the very friendly and helpful staff, SSI does not just ask you to sign the dotted line and then leave you to figure out what to do next on your fitness journey . As a part of your membership, you are evaluated at your current fitness level and then as you progress, you are given annual health assessments to see your progress.
