My 12 yr old son was very stiff in his upper torso and arms from doing sports a few days before. He couldn't lift his arms, was in pain and immobile through his upper spine. He had overall misalignment. I booked here in desperation and it happened to be not far from my home. Ploi was his therapist. I observed how gentle and respectful she was; during the treatment she told him, in advance, what she was going to do next. Ploi's professionalism and expertise was very evident. She gave him aftercare advice in the way of suggested stretches. What a very lucky find. My son was amazed at how different his body felt and said he would 'highly recommend the treatment'. First time experiencing a massage. Clean and tidy room and music is relaxing. Booked in because I had a tight muscle. The woman used a mixture of sports and thai massage techniques, including an ultra sound device for my stiff muscle. Hot stones used. Finished off with head and face massage. I have been for MANY "deep tissue" massages following a car accident which has left me with daily pain in my back, neck and shoulders. However, I have always come away feeling like they haven't quite managed to undo the knots/tension and the pain has continued. This was the best massage I have ever had. Using the ultrasound, my therapist managed to get deeper into the tissues to sort the underlying problem. Cannot rate this place enough! I have been here afew times now and it has done me wonders! I have twin toddlers and I am always on the go! I hardly get any time to myself and this affects my body extremely which leaves me very moody and achy all of the time. I suffer really badly with sciatica and I went to see Pam. She used a technique of ultrasound therapy and deep tissue massage. I could feel the heat from the ultrasound machine and it loosening up my muscles. She gave me stretches to do at home as well. I wish I'd have found her sooner. Pam is the nicest, friendliest and welcoming person I've met. I have had massages for a chronic back and neck problem for years in scotland. I have recently moved to leicester and found Pam. I originally came to see Pam for a back injury which happened in the gym lifting weights, I was struggling to get in and out of my car and my lower back kept locking up. I contacted Pam by text message and booked in. I am a professional boxer so I have seen many Physio's, sport therapist and sport massage therapist over the years and I realised that Pam is a genuine honest person and she wants to get you fixed ASAP unlike many other private practitioners. Only 2 days after my first treatment with Pam I noticed a dramatic improvement in my injury. What originally attracted me to Pam was that she combines the ultra sound therapy with your sports massage and I do not know of any other practitioner that does both. I would highly recommend Pam and regularly see her even if I have no problems, just for maintenance as I live such an active life style. I came to visit pam with my ongoing shoulder injury from weight training. I have been to many therapists in the past to sort this problem but did not get anywhere. Pam was very welcoming and used alternative therapy - Ultra sound. I was unsure at first but by the end of my session I could already feel the difference. She also used traditional massage too. I suffered awful shoulder and neck pain for a long time before I met Pam. After a busy day at work I'd be left almost in tears (I'm a hairdresser) I read Pam's 5* reviews and decided to book. I had been suffering from a painful shoulder and neck due to weight training and sitting at a desk all day. The pain has been constant for the last 3 years and I have visited many therapists to sort the problem but none have managed to sort the problem. I visited Pam at the Sport & Therapeutic Clinic.
