So pleased to have hired Rachel. We had a large lounge space which we did not know how to make the most of. It now looks great.
She has made a big space seem comfortable and welcoming, which was exactly what we wanted. Colour and furniture choice was good and she gave us sources where furniture could be found. She chose pieces that had flair but we're practical input space.
She was very nice to work with and came up with designs quickly and adapted them when we decided on a slightly different colour scheme
She made the process so much easier
for us.

We were really pleased for the designs that Rachel came up with for our living room and garden room. All the furniture, rugs and lighting coordinate beautifully and have created just the atmosphere we wanted. She gave us sources for the furniture ,arranged for our blinds to be made and came up with an upholsterer to re-cover some ercol chairs to use in the garden room. Bathroom Design & Planning
I engaged Rachel to redesign four bathrooms in my villa in Portugal. Working exclusively from architects plans and photographs, Rachel helped us develop a design brief and set about designing, in extraordinary detail, every aspect from tiles to taps to lighting.
She continues to support us during the build process, which is now at a critical stage, liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure her design is executed accurately and cost effectively. All of this achieved whilst 1000 miles away from the build site and in foreign language.

What’s your interior design process?
I offer an initial consultation of up to 30 mins (free in Devon).
I then document the brief to write up the project details scope, budget, timescales and any other constraints.
We also identify your vision of your ideal interior and how it fulfils your needs both aesthetically and functionally.
Next I put together a concept with mood board, floor plan to show the layout of furniture and colour scheme.
We meet again and I present the concept.
After this concept is signed off by you I develop the concept to be a full design scheme and source all finishes and furniture, artwork and lighting and accessories for you. This is all developed into a full design package which can be in turn given to your building contractor or you can leave me to oversee the implementation and project manage with your contractor on your behalf.

I use a dedicated design portal for my clients. This makes finding information and drawings super easy. I also use Teams and Zoom when needed.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I can take a covid test before meetings if I have symptoms. I can wear a mask if requested, please just ask otherwise I like to meet face to face!
