We have recently purchased our first home and had been recommended to go with Spencer and Elliott. From start to finish and even after care has been exceptional. Elizabeth explained each section, step by step and pushed for the purchase to be as smooth and as speedy as possible. We were continually kept in the loop and each new document to sign was explained well... and there is many!!.. Elizabeth spent time and effort to ensure that we fully understood what was happening and when, which was so reassuring when you’re purchasing the most expensive thing of our lives and everything seems so daunting yet felt so in hand when being reassured, be it over email or calls. Can't rate Spencer Elliott highly enough. If it wasn't for Elizabeth Spencer then my husband and I would not be in our dream home. Unfortunately we came across a problem during the process and our previous solicitors, after weeks of trying, were unable to come up with a solution which led to the sale falling through. We really didn't want to give up and knew there must be a solution otherwise no one would be able to purchase the house. We were recommended to Spencer Elliott so as a last attempt we managed to get the sellers to agree to a change of solicitor but as a condition to this they put a 3 week deadline on the purchase. This was a very stressful time for us but Elizabeth was so professional and made the process as stress free as possible, kept us informed every step of the way and completed in the timescale that we were given.
