Domenic is a friendly guy but he asked for £240 for locating a fault in my kitchen which was for 3 hrs. I don’t now who has that kind of money for locating a simple fault especially as if showed him where it was since we’d already Had an electrician diagnose the fault. Domenic said he would call back the next day to say whether he could come on Saturday morning (a nice offer) but he didn’t. When we called him he said he would come so we got up early but he didn’t show so we called him again and he came a few hours later. When he left the washing machine which had to be taken out to do the job was replaced in a way that we couldn’t close it’s front door. I spent half an hour realigning it only to find the water supply (unfortunately behind the machine) hadn’t been turned on again. So another half an hour of my time.The final invoice was £569 for replacing a bit of cable. Admittedly not in the most accessible place but expensive compared to my usual guy. More...

This is the second time I'm reviewing Dominic, as I had him come to fix a broken extractor fan in the kitchen. I asked him to come over because I knew he would be very reasonable in price, and would actually try to fix it - rather than just shaking his head telling me I'd need to buy a completely new fixture. I was inspired to start my own business, once a started a family and realised that I needed to try find the right work-life balance.
This involved achieving flexibility. The ability to work your own hours i.e not weekends. Spend more time with your family and friends.
The main attraction, for me, is pursuing my passion as an electrician, calling the shots and managing myself. This allows me to create my your own positive environment with my clients.
