Amazing day with Captain Pierre. We took a day trip with our 11 and 9 year old boys. They loved it and Captain Pierre was very instructional, helpful and patient with our family. Pierre was great. He put us on the trouts and reds and we limited out. He was enjoyable to be around as well and has good conversation. One of the better things I liked was that he took time to show you how to do the fishing and not just take you to a good spot. We booked a full-day fishing trip with Captain Pierre and it was a memorable experience, resulting in catching 30 fish total. Â With a group of 4 people, Pierre provided coaching on how to catch fish using different bait and technique, depending on what we were going for. Â He was extremely patient even when we had an occasional line snag or a hat that blew off the boat. Â Captain Pierre worked extremely hard the entire trip scouting out the fish, changing out hooks/bait, and helping us cast further than our novice arms could throw. Â He also provided great customer service by checking in to see whenever we needed to use the restroom, take a break for lunch, and even cleaning out fish and dropping it off as we were staying a hotel nearby the docks. Had an awesome experience with Pierre. My friend and I hired him for an 8 hour trip and Pierre got us on a school of black drum almost immediately. We limited out on those in no time. He also got us on a lot of trout. He worked hard the entire trip, from working tangled lines, corresponding with other guides on finding fish, having everything ready to go for our 6:15am launch time, to cleaning and bagging all of our catch. Pierre and his co-captain were a delight to fish with!While on board, Pierre made an effort to get to know all of us and also make an even better effort to educate us about the water. I've been on many offshore fishing trips but this was my first bay experience. His boat and bait setup are wonderful -- all you really need to do is show up (AND ON TIME). Due to weather conditions, we didn't catch much but Pierre took us to at least 5 hot spots. His knowledge of Corpus was immense and really helped our Padre stay a success. More...

Had the honor of fishing with Captain Pierre and his associate Ernie (who has some great stories).  We had an AWESOME time not only catching fish, but having conversation and fellowship.  I have been blessed to have fished for years and can say with confidence our trip was probably one of the  very best and most memorable trips I have had.  Captain Pierre has years of experience fishing these waters which I attribute to us catching our limit of speckle trout.  My daughter and boyfriend are novice, but Captain Pierre is a great teacher and they quickly learned how it's done.  We ended the day also with a Texas Slam (Trout, Flounder, and Redfish).  Going fishing is more than just catching fish, it is also about enjoying being on the water with others.  So if your looking for a quality guide with integrity, knowledge, experience and some fun, go with Captain Pierre. Capt. Pierre was a great guide. Took us down to Baffin bay and got us in on some nice speckled trout quick. Couldn't get on the reds so we went to Packery and caught our limit on black drum. Very friendly, helpful guy. Offers tips on making the catch and even spots to go kayaking and shore fishing. Would recommend. More...
