Speedy & excellent communication prior to the event.
The actual event was great - prompt arrival, excellent set up/lights, played the music that I had requested - everyone had a great time, what more could you ask for?

I booked Leigh for my 30th birthday, Leigh was professional in his approach and nothing seemed to much trouble. He was prompt good array of lighting and a real mix of music, all my guests said how great the music was and how accommodating he was with requests. Although I never had many recommendations he judged the crowd well and they loved the night. I would certainly book Leigh again for future events and would recommend him to others. Leigh was absolutely fantastic!! His communication with us before the wedding was brilliant. That helped fill us with confidence about him.
On the day of our wedding; Leigh was everything we wanted him to be!! He arrived early, set up promptly, didn't get flustered when we were running late, set up a Mr and Mrs quiz - which was hilarious, brought some beautiful light up letters for us and played our music fantastically!!!
I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a DJ for their wedding/party/event.

We have given Soultrain a 5 star rating as their Disco Set up was professional and very attractive and the DJs themselves were smart and friendly and ready to offer advice with the type of music which would be appropriate for our Dinner Dance.
The music was a great mixture and kept all age groups happy and on the dance floor.
We would definitely recommend Soul Train for your event.

Unfortunately my venue had been double booked for the same date and was not discovered until the day of the venue , by myself .
This caused a lot of panic and stress As I had paid my deposit first , Leigh honoured my booking. Had I not discovered the error I dread to think of the outcome for myself and guests In short I was not impressed. Although Leigh was friendly and professional at the venue

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Watching and talking to the audience, this is a must... reading the crowd and changing the music accordingly, singing is a great way of making them dance if they know the words audience what normally dance.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Personally, I love Soul music, but this doesn't mean I play this all night, it means I play to the audience from all decades of music ranging from 50's to the present date.
What do you love most about your job?
I love my djing job.. It's fantastic to see the crowd response, what a buzz of knowing that you have made audience have a great night.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Just love music, and going to clubs in my earlier years and seeing DJ play there, thinking that would be so cool to do that job. Now putting this into practice, which is fantastic, with new sound systems and LED lighting
Why should our clients choose you?
Good question..I run my business as I would like to be treaded..I only take one booking per night, I never take on other DJ work if booked. It means you get me at your event. A small deposit secure the date, then you receive all receipt and information details.
All my equipment is Pat Tested every year and with a 10 million public liability insurance, for peace of mind to my clients.
