We booked this company for our wedding at home in our garden , there were only 24 guest , most companies will not do such short numbers , having met with other caterers , sorrels was an easy choice to make , their professionalism was clear form the outset , a table plan was put together , those that had dietary requirement needed not to ask as each person got what they ordered flawlessly , but hey there was more to come , the quality of the food was that of a 5 star restaurant , beautifully presented , n guys was hot too , to me that is very important , they made our day very special , our guest were thrilled , everyone wants to know where we found them , im glad that we found them , sandra , steve , and adam thank you very much , people i am happy for sorrels to give out my phone number , if ever you wish to speak to us personally about the quality of this enterprise keith price

Me and my partner (who has already written a review, this is my account) decided to hold our wedding reception at home and after looking at a few catering firms decided to go with sorrels, what an great choice we made. We had canapés and champagne served to us to begin with and what delicious canapés they were, we had black pudding topped with scallop and a pea purée which was outstanding, miniature sausage stuffed with mash potato and topped with caremalised onions again amazing and asparagus wrapped in Parma ham, all deliciously moorish and served faultlessly by Adam our waiter and Sandra and cooked by Steve. We had a little bit of rain so ushered people into the house whilst it pasted and then back out to the garden, again Adam and Sandra served us and kept us all topped up with champagne the whole time without fault. We then went through to the main event into our marquee to be served the 3 course lunch. I have been to many weddings and events and always a little dissapointed by the food and service but what a stunning meal we had. There were 24 of us in total and were served quickly and efficiently by Sandra and Adam the food was hot and tasty and presented beatifully by Steve, really well done guys. Sorrels used our summer house to prep and cook and left that clean and tidy. This was with out a doubt the best food I have had served to me at any function, a huge thank you to Adam, Sandra and Steve for making our day even more special. We were recommended Sorrels by our wedding venue, The Orangery Suite, and they did not disappoint. We had the afternoon tea modified to our liking for around 70 guests, which included a course of sandwiches and savoury snacks, followed by scones and sweet treats. Cannot recommend Sorrels Caterers more highly. They really went that extra mile for my Daughters Wedding. The Canopies were superb and we were offered an incredibly wide range. They were catering for a large number of people and we had a three course meal to follow. Each course was like eating in a gourmet restaurant and was totally delicious. My wife and I had our wedding at the Orangery Suite in June 3rd 2017 and we used Sorrel's to provide a 3 course meal and they certainly did not disappoint. Sandra was always on the end of the phone or responded quickly to emails if we ever had any questions. We had a good tasting and Sandra was very accommodating to our slight changes and requests for people with different allergies or food preferences. All the staff were very polite on the day and all I can say is the food was outstanding, everyone provided compliments regarding the chef. They also helped us with providing drinks to our guests and tea/coffee. On a last minute request they also helped with cutting up our wedding cake for our guests which we cannot thank them enough for. I can't recommend Sorrels highly enough. We used them for my son's Christening - an afternoon tea. From the initial arranging to the event in question, the customer service from Sandra has been fantastic; she goes above and beyond. The food itself was AMAZING - from thickly filled sandwiches to scones and yummy cakes of all varieties. They also saved the day by kindly going to buy orange juice that I had left at home (oops). Their service at the event was faultless, including the clearing up.
