If you are looking for a professional DJ for your wedding, without a doubt you need to book Geoff Ryder from Starturns. From the very start he was 100% professional and replied promptly to all our emails and text messages. He took on board the kind of music we wanted (80’s/90’s dance & lots of camp classics!) and he had the floor full all night. We didn’t want the night to end!! He also supplied uplighters and they were the perfect compliment to an already stunning ballroom. What can I say about Geoff, and his Starturns Entertainments family Nothing but good things!! I first saw Geoff at a friends party. The dance floor was full all night, and the selection of music played was spot on! The next time I saw him, was at a friends wedding.....again, another fantastic night of non stop dancing, with the song choices being exactly what the room dictated. So when it was my Dads 80th birthday, I didn't hesitate in contacting Geoff to book him for the party. Geoff made it very clear, that as much as he would love to be there on the night, there was a possibility that it could be another of his DJ's, who all worked with the same professionalism and expertise as he does. They all watch the room, listen to the room, and play the music that the room wants. And boy did the DJ do that. He had an age range of 7-80 to keep happy, and the dance floor was jumping all night. The venue we used had a sound limit, and the DJ was able to adjust to meet these requirements. He was also able to play around the other "musical entertainment" that we had booked......Samba Drumming......the DJ even joined in and was great fun. I would highly recommend Geoff and his DJ team, in fact I have them booked for another event next year. You will not regret having them at your party/ wedding. And to top it all off, they have some fantastic "extra's" when it comes to lights etc. More...

Geoff Ryder from Somerset wedding discos one word "AMAZING!!" - As a venue we have been working with Geoff for many years and his approach from begining to end is faultless . Geoffs inspiration never stops!! He can pull almost anything out the bag and now has multi itemes along side his DJ equipment to make for the perferct wedding reception "Loving the new uplight system & love signs!!". Just had somerset wedding discos and what an amazing job they did, nothing was to much trouble so helpful they set up the day before which was great for me to see how it would all look and made setting up the venue much easier. We had the disco which was done by vince and he was fantastic we also had lots of up lighters and the huge love letters and huge love heart they really transformed the venue and looked absolutely stunning and all for a great price I would definitely recommend somerset wedding discos great service and great people.
