A long term back injury and a very positive recommendation by Andy from Leith Pilates led me to David Lasnet at Soma Osteopathy in Queen Charlotte St, Leith. I had never been to an osteopath before, didn't know what to expect and was a little anxious there might be some theory or belief system I would not be comfortable with. I need not have worried - very clear, practical focus on my injury with exactly the right simple explanations of what he was doing and why. After an hour long initial session and 3 subsequent 30 mins sessions I could notice a significant difference and had a good range of exercises, stretches etc to allow me to manage my own condition. I would have no hesitation in recommending David at Soma to anyone with an issue osteopathy might help with. More...

I have had osteopathy treatments and massage at Soma. Both have made a huge difference to my wellbeing. I work at a desk most of the day so I can get really stiff shoulders, this can tend to get very bad if I ignore it so a massage regularly keeps it at bay. The osteopathy treatments have really helped with an on going issue with my hip and David also managed to fixed an issue I had not even realised was an issue, but has made a really difference for me. :) More...
