Hi and welcome!

My name is Shondelle Melvin, I am a Mind & Body Transformation Coach, who competes occasionally as a fitness model and a budding Cross Fitter with a real passion for Health, Wellness and helping you to achieve your goals.

Are you female between 25 years - 50 years old?

I am passionate about health and confident that I can help you become healthier without complex food preparation or diets interfering with your busy lives. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I use a mixture of mind-set training, exercises and sound nutrition to help my clients achieve their goals. Programs are individual to client needs as one size doesn't fit all.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

There is no secret to getting the body of your dreams. However you need the right tools ie.. the right mind-set training, tailored exercise, nutrition program and consistency.

What do you love most about your job?

I love helping my clients to achieve their goals. Being a working mum in my 40s, I know the challenges most women face every day and if you're a parent that challenge increases. Educating my clients to successful manage a healthy lifestyle not only for themselves but their family is what get me out of bed most mornings at 4:30am.

What inspired you to start your own business?

The fitness industry is plagued with celebrity trainers, fad diets and the average trainer with little life experience. The mums at the school gate want to know , 'how do you manage to work, care for your family and still have time to take care of yourself'? I became a Mind & Body Transformation Coach so I can teach my client to LOVE themselves and not only achieve their fitness goal but adopt a new healthier lifestyle for themselves and their family.

I met Shondelle on a free trial Personal Training session offered to me by the gym. The first time I met her she was kind, encouraging and really friendly. I was hooked! I have now been having regular PT sessions with Shondelle for two years. My main aim is to keep fit, get toned and stay motivated to go to the gym. Shondelle has delivered that and so much more. Firstly, she has given me the confidence to push myself and not be intimidated in the gym even when I'm standing in the middle of weights section surrounded by lots of massive guys. Secondly, Shondelle has taught me new exercises, improved my technique and given me so many ideas for my own workouts. This has meant I don't do the same thing all the time and feel much more motivated to get myself to the gym when I don't have session with her. Finally, I've seen results. I feel much healthier, my body is toned, I've lost weight but kept curves where I want them and my overall wellbeing has improved massively. Even when I can't be bothered before my PT session, I always leave feeling energised (and usually super proud of myself for completing her tough routine!) Unfortunately, I was only able to train with Shondelle for a few sessions since I'm only in London for a short period. In the few sessions we did have together I feel better than I have in a VERY long time. Before we commenced our training, we sat down together and discussed my lifestyle, my diet and my goals. Shondelle not only created a personalized fitness program to help me meet my goals but she also gave great dietary advice. During every session she checked-in with me to see how well I was eating because - as she's taught me - "great bodies are made in the kitchen."
Our sessions were fun, challenging & varied; no two sessions were ever the same. Shondelle was extremely encouraging and helped me realize that I was capable of doing more than I realized. But perhaps the best thing about working with Shondelle is how personable she is. While she may be strict about completing each rep and each set, she is extremely fun to work with. I have been training on a regular basis -i.e. from five to six times a week- since 2000 now. My gym routine generally kicks off with a 30-minute run on the treadmill superseded by a combination of free-weight and machine exercises which vary depending which muscle groups I would need to concentrate on each day. On several occasions in the past I have relied on the knowledge and expertise of a personal trainer to boost my motivation levels, perfection technique and incorporate new elements to my fitness programme. Last summer I decided to benefit from Shondelle Melvin’s services as a Personal Trainer. During the consultation process she quickly took on board my lower back pain condition to customize a fitness programme to address this key aspect in an effective manner by focusing on core strengthening exercises without neglecting other fitness areas I was also interested in targeting. The results achieved after a few mere sessions with her did surpass my initial expectations. Personal training with Shondelle always turned out to be a very enjoyable experience, which I will be looking forward to signing up for again soon. It’s a no pain, no gain experience with an encouraging smile. She is respectful, understanding and eager to walk that extra mile side by side with you.
