I’ve been going to Smart Bodies off and on for over 20 years. I love it! Anthony is so welcoming, accommodating and gives killer workouts. The entire staff always remembers you, it has a family atmosphere. All ages, sizes and levels of fitness are there, I’ve never felt out of place. They cater to your own personal goals. I have been going to Smart Bodies for years , they are really friendly and accommodating especially for busy mom's ! There is alot of different types of people there in all ages, shapes and sizes and everyones is really familiar with each other and know you and your kids by name - workouts are effective , fast and can be as challenging or light as you need according to where your health & well being and goals are , I see teens training for sports , mother /daughter workouts, seniors , a little bit of everything , its a nice clean warm non -judgmental atmosphere !

The trainers do an excellent job of utilizing various types of equipment and exercises so each workout is different and engaging. In 2016 I was diagnosed with carcinoid cancer on the appendix!! I don't know a lot about it but I was informed it had to do with some dietary issues and my body weight was to high. I am cancer free but to make sure it doesn't reappear I have to keep my body fat percentage down. I was also diagnosed with PTSD due to personal trauma growing up. Words cannot express how grateful that I am for Smartbodies gym. Everyone has been great! All of the trainers are highly knowledgeable at what they do! I work with several of the trainers and talk to the other trainers in passing! I work with Mike Tilleli, Jeff Noonan and the owner Anthony Capozzoli! I also had the pleasure of working with Lauren Brigham and Ed Gallo who are trainers that filled in when the others couldn't! I highly recommend Smartbodies not only because of the gym but the people you come in contact there all treat you like family and you couldn't ask for anything better!! They work with you, if you have an injury they will find ways to work around it! They also have trainers who are available to talk about nutrition as well. Mark Quigley, Ed Gallo and Sean Glenn all very knowledgeable at what they do! So if you're looking for a fresh start to becoming a better you Smartbodies is definitely at the place for you! I'm also grateful for their help and guidance as I'm studying to become a personal trainer and nutritionist so that I can help others as well! It was always my passion to help others and these guys have been an inspiration to show anything is possible if you just believe!! Smart Bodies is a comfortable, clean, fun workout environment! I had a baby in December and I didn’t want to jump back into working out, but my trainer Mike has been absolutely amazing! He’s understanding, knowledgeable, and I have seen results just within 4 sessions. He not only motivates me physically, but mentally I feel stronger too. I’ve been in need of a hip replacement for 2 years. Meeting the BMI requirement for insurance was a major obstacle. In January, I joined Smart Bodies, a life changing experience! Trainers Anthony and Lauren took the time to understand both my goals and my movement limitations. By March I had lost the needed weight to qualify for surgery and on April 5th I got my new hip. My recovery is going exceptionally well in just a few days and I attribute that in part to my training which improved my mobility prior to the surgery and the strength training that has propelled my recovery. I’m looking forward to continuing my journey at Smart Bodies when i am cleared to do so.....I need to get ready to Walk the Camino in September with my new hip!! More...

It's been almost a year since I started going to SmartBodies and I have seen some great improvements both physically and mentally. I look and feel healthier, I have more energy and I am more tone. My trainer is Anthony and he is AWESOME! He assures I have proper form, challenges me and keeps it interesting. It's more than doing various exercises, it's a complete all around workout. I love Smart Bodies! Anthony Capozzoli has been my trainer. I have only been going for a few months but already feel a difference. I like the varied workouts. I like the way Anthony keeps an eye on me to make sure I'm doing the exercise properly. Mike covered for Anthony once and he was very good. All the trainers look like they're on top of their game. I started going to SmartBodies about a month or so ago to assist in stress relief and am so happy with my decision. I've been working with Anthony and he's perfect - knows when to push me and when to take a step back. He tailors the workouts to ensure I'm getting what I need and it's different every time. I needed the personal training instead of going to a gym to make sure I am doing the workouts correctly and, maybe more importantly, for accountability. I love that I can use the cardio section of the gym whenever and it's not a separate cost. I also love the diversity in the other clients, during my workouts there are some fit mamas, dads and granddads, a few parents with their teenage kids. Some people to aspire to and some who are in the same boat as me to make it a less intimidating experience. More...

I've been going to Smart Bodies for years and always come back. I like the environment because its comfortable and I'm guided through my workout every step of the way. Its specifically a personal training gym, so I don't have to wait for people to be done with equipment or loud people dropping weights. Its all perfectly timed so I can get in an efficient total body workout. The plus is that they have a full cardio room that you can use anytime even when you aren't scheduled for a training session! The hours are great, open like 5am to 8pm. The staff are awesome, fun, and friendly. Free water while you work out. Locker rooms have showers and nice towels. In 4 months I have lost 20 lbs with their diet plan and exercise routine. I never got these results anywhere else. Location is convenient right in Marlton next to all shopping so that's a plus. I love it. I recommend anyone to try it out! More...

My husband and I have been coming to this gym for almost two years and we love it. We like the intensity and knowledge of the trainers and the friendly vibe of the place. Having a trainer also makes you accountable, which is the only reason we still maintain twice a week workouts for each of us. If no one was waiting for me at the gym, I would've quit a long time ago. Smart Bodies is a personal training studio only, not a gym and that's what I loved so much about this place. Every time I went my trainer was waiting for me. After bad experiences at my previous gym, it's refreshing to finally be at a place where I'm exercising productively and efficiently. Before starting your training, Anthony (the owner) gives a full body assessment and takes info about your lifestyle, nutrition and medical history. He does the dreaded caliper body fast assessment too (those are the worst!), and you get a printed report of your total body fat vs. lean body mass, your basal metabolic rate and where you fall in body fat range. I was disappointed to see I'm above the range where I should be for body fat but it was good to know that for two reasons: 1. I'll be able to track how much body fat I actually lose and 2. my old gym did NONE of this and just used their "personal training sessions" as a way to sell you additional services. I never felt like I was actually getting a good workout there. But at Smart Bodies, I feel like I'm never just going through the motions. Every single workout is a challenge and I'm sweating like a pig by a few minutes in. Depending on the day or time, I go to two different trainers, either Anthony or Jeff. For 30 minutes they lead me through a full-body cardio and strength training workout. If you go around 6 or 6:30 p.m. the gym will be packed though, so be sure to ask what times have one-on-one sessions rather than partner sessions if you want more individual attention. Workouts are personalized to my level and always different, but never easy. The exercises aren't something I'm used to either; they're always targeting muscles in ways that I don't normally do on my own and tweaked to work more muscle groups than just one -- like doing a Warrior 3 type yoga pose while also doing tricep kickbacks with one arm, or standing on a BOSU while squatting and doing arm exercises. The TRX suspension system is also used a lot.If you're on a budget, the session packages can get a bit pricey, but it's a way more efficient workout than just going to a gym, in my opinion. Pairing two days a week here with my normal running and yoga has made a huge difference as I train for the Broad Street Run.I'm just happy to have found a gym that isn't trying to rip me off and isn't staffed by bored exercise science majors -- what a concept!
