Cara is an amazingly talented photographer! Not only does she take gorgeous pictures, but she’s literally the SWEETEST person you’ll ever meet! I initially was trying to have maternity pictures taken. The weather didn’t cooperate and Cara was super flexible in finding new dates whenever the weather interfered. The weather didn’t cooperate for literally 3 different date changes! Cara rescheduled every time with no questions asked. Regardless of weather, my baby had plans of his own and he ended up making his appearance 2 weeks earlier than anticipated. So, this meant no more maternity pictures. I was bummed...but, Cara, being the very sweet and accommodating human being that she is...asked if I wanted a newborn session instead. 6 days after my little man was born, I went to Cara’s studio for our newborn session. I was blown away!!! She’s such a natural in handling little ones and she took the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen ❤️❤️❤️ I cannot thank her enough for capturing the best part of my life in some of the most precious pictures! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being able to know your clients and have the eye for what looks good! Plus a really nice camera helps too. I shoot with a 45 megapixel camera so you can print your images in high resolution as big as you want.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to get to know a potential new client before signing onto a project. Because a lot of photography is personal, you are choosing someone to share your most precious moments with. I want to make sure that we are a good fit!
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to see the joy on a couples face when they get married. It is so special to be able to capture all the love.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved photography and it has truly been a passion of mine for years, so why not make it a business!
Why should our clients choose you?
I will not only care about how the photos turn out, but I care about you as an individual. I make sure your wedding day is a day you will look back on for the rest of your life with the happiest memories.
