Nice vibes, reasonable prices but they have no system in serving people at that bar. You can wait easily 20 minutes when when it's busy and they'll serve someone who just walked up to it. Staff are friendly as anything.

Friendly and efficient. Basic rooms are exactly that, but comfortable bed. Clean and really warm! As a stop off before heading to France it was great.

We stopped at the Portland for a stop off visit before getting a 6am ferry to France.||We arrived early evening & was greeted by Joe.
