I cannot speak more highly of Julia. She did our engagement photos and she captured our wedding. Leading up to both, she was attentive, helpful and always ready to give a nervous bride advice. Looking through all of the photos, It’s impossible to choose a favorite. Every single photo was perfection. She is such a delightful and amazing presence on your wedding day, making you feel comfortable and as though everything is under control. After the wedding, she sent us a sneak peek, and finished editing and perfecting the photos SOOOO quickly and diligently. 15/10 would recommend. Jules was recommended to us by another photographer who was booked on our wedding date. That photographer actually gave us about 12 recommendations, and Jules stood out to us among all of them. We creeped her blog and fell in love with her style and personality. She was who we were meant to hire and we couldn't be any happier! From the beginning, she was very responsive and accommodating. I felt that her pricing was reasonable for everything she offered. From the moment we chose her, she was there to help with any questions we had and helped us with our wedding day timeline. We met three times before our wedding to go over everything (four if you include our engagement photo shoot!), proving she gives each client the dedicated time they desire. Her photos are absolutely lovely as well - she has an eye for the best shot, knows exactly how to pose her "subjects" and pays attention to every little detail. Her posed shots are gorgeous, but she is also able to capture the candid moments as well. We're so happy we chose to have her capture our wedding day. Most importantly, it didn't feel like we had some random person there - it felt like she was a friend who had been cheering us on from the beginning which is SO important since she's literally there all day during every single moment. Jules shot our engagement photos and wedding this year. When you first meet Jules, you will quickly find comfort in her warm and goofy personality, all the while wondering how that much sweetness and charisma ended up in such a small human. But don’t let her height fool you. When it came to working with Jules, she did everything but fall short on the work she did for us. She is so talented, and made the entire process from choosing locations for photos to sorting out all the important details of the wedding day so incredibly easy and FUN. She got to know us individually as a couple and she REALLY CARES. I couldn’t imagine having a better photographer on our wedding day. The day flowed so smoothly, and we owe a lot of that to her! As far as the quality of photos she, and her second shooter Peter, captured on our wedding day, I believe those pictures speak for themselves. They turned out better than I imagined. I feel like they captured the big moments perfectly, but more importantly, caught the small, sweet moments between Austin and I in the midst of the craziness of the day that are often missed in the chaos. Jules was AMAZING photographing our wedding. She went above and beyond during our wedding day. We felt comfortable and as relaxed as you can be on the day of your wedding. We couldn't have imagined a better photographer to capture our special day! We didn't meet Jules until the day of our wedding after our original photographer was pregnant and due with her baby around the time of our wedding. Even though we hadn't interacted through more than email ahead of time, while she was taking our pictures we felt like we had known her forever. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Leading up the the big day she helped us a create a schedule that worked perfectly to fit in all of the pictures we wanted to take. She kept us on track and on schedule and it completely minimized our stress on a hectic day. We got sneak peeks and our pictures back quickly. Jules is an incredible person and an AMAZING photographer. Being in front of a camera can be a very vulnerable position for many people, but Jules has a way of making you feel comfortable and beautiful. Jules has taken many yoga/fitness photographs of me, and when we were shooting it has always felt as if I were doing my most beloved hobby while she was doing hers. Every shoot is an exciting adventure, with endless giggle and smiles. She has an awesome eye for taking the perfect photos, and knows how to encompass beautiful light, colors, details and moods into every photo.
