Very friendly staff, lovely little shop, and smells delicious My only issue was I wish the sweet selection for the pizzas had a little more variety- but I do understand that on less busier days the selection would be smaller than at peak times. I ordered sweetie cones for my little boys birthday party and they were fantastic. They were sent through the post and arrived quickly and safely. I paid for the postage but unfortunately they cost more to post when taken to the post office, however I wasn't charged any extra for this. We went to a sweet pizza making event during the school holidays. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The shop itself and the back party room were immaculately clean. I've taken my son here every summer for 3 years - to make sweetie cakes, sweetie pizzas and for Jumping Clay workshops. We've always enjoyed doing this together and having a morning out, with a great selection of sweets to use and friendly staff there happy to help or to let you get on with it. Last weekend he turned 6, and we decided a Sweet Party would be something different but perfect for his age group, and not as expensive as other options he brought up. Invites were provided, Celia was always available on Facebook to arrange details, I popped in to discuss the timeline, food and activities, and it was £20 deposit. We had 13 children come. There isn't room for parents to stay, but we preferred it that way. The party is held in the back half of the shop which was decorated and had music playing when we got there. All we had to bring was a cake and candles and anything for party bags we wanted to include (as we asked for the ones the shop can provide). Being 7.5 months pregnant this was the perfect party for me as Mum! The kids were kept busy for 2 full hours, with two staff there who were clearly well practiced. The kids decorated and named their own party bags, then made sweetie pizzas which were put into proper pizza boxes and put with the party bags. They then had lunch (selection of sandwiches, carrot/cucumber sticks, crisps, drinks and buns) and we also asked for ice creams. Then we cut the cake and while that was put into the bags, the kids had party games, all the old favourites. And as children were 'out', they had their choice of glitter tattoos applied. As parents, we supervised and kept control but left the running of it to Celia and Amy. It was quite noisy, of course, but they were both super-cool and accommodating when I realised I'd forgotten to confirm ice creams. The children all went home full of lunch and sugar, with party bags and sweet pizzas. No accidents, no tears, a well organised party for £13 (ish) per child and very little stress for us as parents. Would recommend to others. And on Sundays there is free parking outside, and nobody else in the shop. Some parents went for cake and lunch nearby. Definitely one to consider, our kids all came from 6 miles away and nobody minded the distance, they all had a great time and it was a minimal stress party that's a little bit novel. More...

Just celebrated my daughters 6th birthday here today, and the kids had a fantastic time. Celia was an amazing host, keeping them all entertained with party games and making sweet pizzas, so very original and great fun. My daughter had her 6th birthday party here with 11 of her friends. It was such a good party and the kids loved it a big sigh when it was over from all of them they didn't want it to end! We were made so welcome had exclusive use of the shop even had a cuppa made for us it was fab! The pizza making was great and the all the children took such pride in what they were doing, didn't eat many sweets in the process either! The party games were fun and again the children loved it, lots of laughs and happy little ones!
