What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Pre-event homework on client music requirements, having a massive library of varied musical styles to call on, crowd reading skills, the ability to sequence songs appropriately, select use of the microphone and a sound system that can cope with the numbers of people in attendance.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I vary my style according to the client's needs. I will use the microphone to try and coax the crowd into dancing, introduce party dances or different styles of music however, i do not speak over the music just for the sake of it or make unfunny jokes. Each event is different and I treat them as such.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing clients and their guests enjoying themselves to the max!
What inspired you to start your own business?
The love of playing music, getting people dancing and the buzz of client satisfaction.
