Great Indian food. Lovely selection of curry, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and pretty much all of it is great. On weekdays they have a mixed dish called a tali, which is great if you're an indecisive person. I just had a lamb korma with coconut rice and a naan bread, but hot dang, it was the creamiest korma I've ever had.Costs a pretty penny, though, but if it's a special occasion or you just want to splurge, it's quite worth it. This was my first visit, it was a surprise organised by my wife and family to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was well worth the visit and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to any one else. The staff were friendly and helpful, there was a very extensive menu, and the quality of the food was excellent. We visit Shri Bheema atleast twice a month and order from here on a weekly basis. The Biryani's are a must have if you are anything like my hard core Indian food lover sister. . it takes us back home.. the dishes are as fresh as can be and every dish is made to stand out each and every time. Quality is consistent which is why we return. It's not a fine dining place, but if you love food and want to get worth your money, head to Shri Bheema. The food here is second to none, it's tied with Jewel in the Crown for my favourite Indian food of all in Aberdeen. The service has gotten much better in the couple of years that we've been going. The restaurant still let's it down a bit, the building stairs are still a horrible arrival and we don't go when it's very sunny and warm out as it gets too hot inside due to the big windows. Shri Bheema has significantly improved restaurant under the new ownership. The interior decoration is very nice and clean. This is a South Indian restaurant very close to the Gants hill train station. The food is very tasty and it can easily be seen that the chef and staff take extra care to make the food looks and feel special for you. The staffs is very helpful and friendly too. We have been there several times. My first experience was really good and then two visits after that were really disappointing. Food quality to service went from very good to really poor. However, visited them recently again and really loved it. I would really wanted to give them 5 stars based on my first and last experiences but was disappointing two times in between, hence 4 stars.
