I recommend anyone wanting to do a beginners course to do this one! It was really fun and I learned so much, I’m gutted it’s ended! Richard helped me so much with my camera and was very patient with me (I’m not the easiest to teach lol) I lack confidence a lot but once I got into the lesson I was able to express my vision and get the results I wanted, I can’t thank Richard enough for this opportunity :) More...

I have recently attended Richard’s photography course and cannot recommend it highly enough. I thought I knew how to use my DSLR camera but it turns out that I really didn’t. No wonder I was getting so many shots of my own eyeball. The course moved through a wide range of techniques and explained how to get the best from the camera. I have now sent my portfolio to several national newspapers, to a range of A list celebrities and NASA. I await a response. On a serious note, this is a fabulous course, taught by one of Britain’s best photographers. Fantastic course, learnt more than I thought I would. Richard has a great way of teaching, very relaxed and a good laugh. I am still producing some lovely photos which really makes me happy

"Richard's beginners course manages to get across a lot of technical knowledge without ever being intimidating. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and in 8 weeks got everyone confident in getting their cameras off 'Automatic' and unafraid to use manual settings. More than anything it's really good fun and by the end we were all taking photos that we'd have previously never imagined. All that and unlimited chocolate biscuits - what more could you ask for?!
