What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
"Experience, with experience comes knowledge, knowledge of lighting posing you also need confidence in equipment and know you can handle ANY issues that occur on the clients shoot/wedding day, Probably though the most important area of photography especially weddings is people skills.
Gaining the ability to gain the trust of clients is essential.... as we always say "communication and trust equals great images".
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
By arranging a pre shoot/wedding meeting with our clients prior to their event is a great way of getting to know what the client likes, what they want, and budget to spend. Also this is a great way to find out special request and areas of the clients shoot that are sensitive and private. Very important to us is the pre shoot meeting.
What do you love most about your job?
"That's easy EVERYTHING" Traveling meeting new clients and creating, processing, and presenting the images to our clients and seeing the glee on their faces still gives me that great feeling of achievement today after all these years.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a frustrated Artist/painter, photography sort of crept up on me but my particularly bad wedding photo's from my wedding was the reason I decided to take up this profession. Ive never looked back since.
