Amazing place to chill during the summer, me and a few mates always pick this location, sit by the lake and have a little picnic and have a catch up, we usually stay from light to dark! 100% recommend for people who want to have a nice chilled walk, or to take the dog out and release some energy! Path around the perimeter, bit muddy in a few places. Prob about a mile or so round & popular with dog walks. Lake in the middle full of geese & seems popular to go fishing. Quite a lot of 'wild' areas including some that have been planted up and left to go wild. These are starting to grow up now.Kiddies fenced off playground at park entrance seems popular.Certainly worth a visit if local. More...

Great space for walking dogs and has a much loved park!
In my youth I use to climb on the Army Bunkers and you could get a great view!
