I've been coming to SeaWave for about two years now, and I couldn't recommend this salon more!!I came across it randomly when looking for a last minute wax. I met Gizel who did the Hollywood wax meticulously (not a hair left - which is rare), and we had great conversations! She has become a friend, who I look forward to chatting to every time I get a treatment. Although a little more expensive than some salons for bikini waxes, the standard of professionalism is well worth it.Val, who I booked a wax with when I couldn't book with Ghazal, did equally as great of a job and also commented on my skin. I suffer painfully with acne, and she recommended I get a facial. This is something I would never have considered, seeing as I try my hardest not to aggravate my skin. However, after trying everything to no avail, I thought I would give it a go. After just one facial, people were commenting on how much better my skin looked. My face was finally not pulsating from the cysts, and makeup went on so much smoother. I have been getting Guinot facials fortnightly since April, and can confidently say this is the best my skin has been in months! Val has single-handedly given me my confidence back, and I no longer cry every day from pain or lack of self-esteem. I have also had a Dermalogica facial by Ghazal, which provided me with equally positive results.I am made to feel welcome and comfortable by every member of staff. Absolutely fantastic.Went into the salon for the first time last week and was so impressed with my blow dry by Nevilla that I went back the following week for highlights and a blow dry which exceeded all my expectations. My hair not only looked amazing but felt fantastic too. I started using the hair stylists at seawave for my hair, I came here with damaged, dry and colourless locks. Thankfully now my hair is healthy, glossy and growing lovely! I would not normally bother writing a review following a beauty treatment, but today's facial with Val was something else. My skin looks and feels amazing. There is no expense spared in the use of quality products and the beautician is clearly experienced. I will definitely be investing in this treatment again. I done a few treatments today at Sea Waves, I am, beyond ecstatic with the results. I had a facial which set me to sleep within seconds, and full leg wax afterwards. The beautician done a very fantastic job and also it did not take up too much of my time. I also got my hair cut and first ever highlights. I have actually come out of my review-writing hibernation to write this because that's how much they (VAL and her team) deserve it. It's always hard to find someone to trust with the waxing side of things but I landed on a gem here. VAL is friendly, kind and a real professional at what she does. I am now a 'regular' I'd say and it's the most painless bikini wax I've ever had. You're always welcomed warmly and offered a drink (mine's usually a glass of bubbly). I always come away feeling pampered.VAL is such a lovely woman and SEA WAVE Salon is a real testament to her hard work. These ladies are great! I did recently go in for a brazilian wax. The receptionist on the phone was pleasant when I called to make my appointment. She went over the entire list of options and didn't rush me to make a decision or an appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted by a very cheerful woman who took my coat and brought me a glass of champagne. The waxing service was 5 starts. I felt totally comfortable, had a great conversation, and was in and out in about 20 minutes. There's no magical secret to keep a brazilian wax from being slightly painful, but having a compassionate and professional esthetician is certainly helpful.Additionally, I should also say that I arrived about 20 minutes early. While sitting in the main room, I overheard lots of different conversations between stylists and their clients. Not once did I hear anyone complaining or saying things that were negative or unprofessional, which is so refreshing in a salon environment. Recently opened in West Wickham and went to have my hair done not expecting anything different from the usual hairdressers down the high street. How wrong was I? You are greeted by happy smiling staff, they listen to what you are wanting, results are totally amazing (I want their hairdresser to live with me so she can do my hair every day!!!!), lots of cups and tea and biscuits.
