Chris and Helen photographed our wedding in August. From the moment we sent our first enquiry to them, we found them them to be prompt, professional and friendly. Throughout the entire day they put us, all of our guests (even the most camera shy!), at ease, to such an extent that a number of our guests thought that they were friends of ours. They were so helpful on the day, and even helped the groomsmen sort out their wonky buttonholes!Chris and Helen understood what we wanted, and executed it exactly as we wanted them to. Chris (Scruffins) and Helen photographed our wedding in Bibury in October 2015. From our first contact with them we were so impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail as well as just how beautiful their photographs are! In person they are lovely, friendly warm people who immediately put you at ease - just what you need if like us you are nervous having your photograph taken!!As our wedding was quite small we thought we wouldn't need two photographers or a whole day package, but I'm so pleased we did. It meant that they were able to capture every part of day and take a lot of spontaneous photos of our friends and family enjoying themselves. Chris and Helen shot our wedding a few weeks ago and they were the absolute best. Super helpful, always stayed in touch, gave us lots of excellent advice and most importantly delivered way more than we expected - we have incredible photos from our big day that captured the fun and festivities perfectly. Chris and Helen came to view our venue with us about six months before the wedding and talked through everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble and they were genuinely interested and excited to hear everything we had planned. We stayed in touch then met up again a couple of weeks before, and on the day they were fantastic. They are like photography ninjas who capture the best moments without anyone even noticing! All of our guests commented on how Chris and Helen blended in just like regular guests, but they worked like troopers throughout the whole morning, day and night judging by the 600 photos we received, and every single one was one that you'd be proud to put on the wall. The hardest thing for us is deciding on just a few to frame!Our day was super relaxed with not much structure and Chris and Helen embraced this totally, whilst at the same time managing to keep an eye on the time and rounding us and our guests up at just the right moments. As a result we have some lovely sunset pictures and some great ones of the guests feeding the animals on the farm, partying the night away and everything in between. Some of our favourites are the mid-air shots they got of the guests and bridesmaids with skipping ropes and hula-hoops! There were a lot of excited and merry guests who wanted various photos taken, and they accommodated everyone and managed the crowd amazingly. The best thing we did was have both of them there to photograph; we would wholeheartedly recommend having two photographers as one of the biggest factors for us was our guests having lots of fun, and it was so exciting being able to see the bits of the day that we missed and reliving it all from the guests' point of view through our pictures. Scuffins produced some incredibly beautiful photos and made everything look truly amazing. We chose them because we wanted relaxed, informal and slightly arty looking photos and they exceeded our expectations. I can't put in to words how well they captured our day; the colours of the pictures is what really stood out when we first saw them, and just the way that they captured the love and celebration. It was all just perfect, and when the photographs arrive in the gorgeous packaging, you can tell they've thought about every single detail to make it as special as possible.We're planning a first year anniversary party and if Chris and Helen weren't already booked up so far in advance (a testament to their great work) we would totally book them for that too, that's how awesome they are. Chris & Helen were a perfect fit for us. Their approach to photography is relaxed, highly professional and discreet with an eye for detail. They were always willing to assist in anyway they could, such as Helen helping Ally get into her dress and Chris keeping watch to make sure I didn't bump into the bride too early.When it came to our photos we couldn't have been happier, we got a sneak peek of some pictures within a couple of days and the full album was ready to view within 10 days, we even got to look through them for the first time on our honeymoon!The photos are exactly the style we wanted and revealed moments of our day that we didn't see for ourselves. It's a perfect memory that we wouldn't change for anything.We've recently received our album something we weren't planning to get originally but are so glad we did. We can not recommend these guys enough. We had a couples shoot before the wedding that was just beautiful. So beautiful in fact that we used them on our wedding day in a slide show. They then came to photograph our special day and captured in perfectly. The best thing about these guys is that they capture all of the detail and the hidden moments that you just don't get from posed pictures. We wanted Scuffins to provide us with wedding photos because of their ability to capture action shots. Those are the type of photos that say a thousand words and really bring the memory of the day flooding back. We have sat and looked at the photos so many times and had ourselves, friend and family in tears re-living the day through their beautiful images. Chris photographed my Wedding on Saturday 5th July 2014, I cannot praise him enough from the very beginning I have had the best communication with Chris. Every email was answered within hours on some occasions and always within a few days. Scuffins Photography pays a lot of attention to the details helping to make your special day run as smoothly as possible. Chris not only photographed the wedding but helped immensely throughout the whole day; being my eyes and my ears as to whether the flowers, cake etc was at the venue. I received my USB Stick with all my photographs on and some selected photographs just a few weeks after the wedding, beautifully presented in the most lovely packaging. I have received my Wedding Album of which I am absolutely in love with and can't stop looking at. That too has been made with so much care and attention, I chose the cream leather Album its a work of art in itself. We booked Chris and Helen for a couples photoshoot and to photograph our wedding in July 2015.Not being particulary comfortable in front of a camera, we were both quite nervous about having our photo's taken but we were instantly put at ease by Chris and Helen.
