We had a fabulous kitchen designer called Radka, who spent many hours working with us in-store, over the phone and by email. She worked very hard to accommodate our needs and always provided the right solutions to get the best for us given budgetary constraints. Radka went over and beyond by seeing us after shop floor hours to make sure our time frames were met, doing her very best to work with the manufacturer, logistics centres and fabricators to try and meet our every request. A very calm, patient and comfortable process with an end result that we are very happy with. Highly recommend Schmidt in Stanmore for your kitchen... We bought our kitchen in 2016 and we had an issue with an installation of our fridge and when I called Schmidt they were instantly on the case, they ordered the part and the their kitchen fitter came along in 2 weeks to complete the fitting. I think during the sale every kitchen company will lay out the red carpet treatment, but its the after sales services that really differentiates the good vs. average. We recently moved into a new apartment and had the kitchen totally rebuilt and redesigned by Schmidt Stanmore. It was a really great experience mainly due to their designer Tanya. She not only designed a superb and practical kitchen which has been much admired by all our friends, but was a pleasure to work with and nothing was too much trouble which made the whole process stress free. We recently moved to a new apartment which needed a total renovation. The kitchen was totally redesigned by their very talented designer Tanya who made the whole process stress free and designed a beautiful and very practical kitchen which has been very admired by all our friends. She was a real pleasure to work with and nothing was too much trouble for her. i have been using Schmidt kitchens for a few years, I deal with an extremely talented designer called Tania and I am extremely impressed with her knowledge of the kitchen industry. They offer a good choice of kitchen frontals and internals and the quality is very good and prices are reasonable. I look for kitchen designers who consider practicality, who have their own design flair and think outside the normal boundaries of design. We came across Schmidt Stanmore when searching for a kitchen and design service for our extension, on a google search found it to be a huge Franco German company supplying high quality kitchen and home furniture. Being a practical person with a budget I was inclined to go to Howdens and buy appliances separately to achieve the best value, so stepping into the Schmidt showroom I did not expect to buy from there. We sat with Radka who was very keen and asked us about our budget the shape and style of what we were looking for (which we had an idea on). My wife and I struggled to agree on most parts of the kitchen however Radka was practical in her advice and her attention to detail is second to none. As we were getting quotes and designs from other kitchen shops, it became clear (with the help of a spreadsheet) that Schmidt were significantly cheaper on the appliances due to their industry partnerships and were competitive on the units (not ‘cheap’). The Schmidt carcasses and fixtures are of a high quality, the only down-side being a thin back board and no chipboard on the top of the kitchen island units (with the units being machine assembled this should not take away from the core strength of the units). Coming to the worktop, Radka was very helpful and clear when Schmidt were not able to offer a better price for Neolith so we opted for a local company. Both Radka and Kevin were extremely patient with our build delays which meant we took delivery of the kitchen in September instead of April. Kevin also agreed to store the kitchen for a longer period at no cost after the units were delivered to the UK. My builders were not convinced the units could be fitted in two days but the Schmidt team managed to complete this with time to spare and to a very high standard. They even returned to replace a side panel and adjust units after the worktop was in. All the access points for gas, electricity and plumbing were cut to make my builders life easier and we are over the moon with the completed look and balance of colours which my wife thought would be too dark. We did experience a delays with the delivery of our hob but this was due to strikes by logistics companies (no fault of Schmidt). Radka and Kevin kindly offered to provide a temporary hob too. To top it off Schmidt gifted us a sink drainer they knew we were looking to buy (very thoughtful and made my wife very happy)! If you are looking to install a new kitchen I would suggest you pay Schmidt in Stanmore a visit and speak with Radka, it helps if you know what you are looking for but if not, Radka will provide a balanced view and work to your requirements and budget when possible. Last year We extended our house and visited Schmidt Stanmore for our kitchen needs more specific a contemporary German Kitchen.
The combination of Radka and Kevin is great. Radka is exteremely intelligent and in understanding client (specially my wife) needs and suggested some great tips on kitchen. The drawing and measurements were spot on from start to finish.

Kevin as a boss makes sure every thing is delivered on time as per the schedule. we were updated by him on each and every stage.
