My wife and I saw Kathleen for the 1st time today and I'm glad I hadn't read these reviews prior to scheduling an appointment. I would have missed out on an absolutely amazing therapist. I felt so comfortable after just a few minutes. Obviously, the need for therapy causes many different thoughts and emotions and our egos certainly dictate the narrative so I understand how people could have mixed impressions but Kathleen is incredibly intuitive and skilled. If you need help sorting things out then she is certainly more than capable. I do believe she is very straightforward which can make some people very uncomfortable, myself included. . She's not there to straighten your life out for you. She is there to give you the nudge and tools to allow you to do it yourself. If you're a couple looking for a skilled therapist, look no further. Thank you, Kathleen. We left your office today knowing that our relationship was going to be ok even though our textbook baggage came along too. I can't wait for next Saturday. More...

Kathleen is an awesome therapist. She came well recommended from my significant other's friend. She helped me use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work on my personal issues. I'm disappointed to see bad reviews here - I don't think these people made an effort to listen to her advice outside of the sessions. She even recommended an audio book for me which has really been helping. I can't speak for people that come with their partners but she has given me great guidance on this when I ask. Give Kathleen a chance, she is a sweet lady. But if it doesn't work don't write a bad review here please. Keep trying. Thank you Kathleen! More...

I don't even know where to begin, we went to Kathleen at a time of crisis. My partner and I had been together for 5 years and we were at a "make it or break it" point. We knew we loved each other but things were just not working out, there was lack of communication and difficulty in how we responded to one another when stressful situations occurred. There definitely was lot of change occurring in our lives as well. Kathleen was instrumental in helping us become better communicators and partners. Her "homework" assignments were the tools we needed to become a TEAM! Her sessions definitely helped us grow as a unit and as individuals. We could not be where we are today without her, she tells it how it is, and we needed that kick in the "butt". My fiancé and I have been seeing Kathleen regularly for the past year. I cannot describe what a difference it has made in our relationship. I can start by saying at our first session in August 2014, my fiancé was not my fiancé, but my boyfriend, and our relationship was at "the crossroads" which every long term relationship seems to eventually arrive. We found ourselves questioning everything: our compatibility, our priorities, our commitment, etc. We felt isolated from one another despite years of living together, confusion, frustration, and dreaded too closely examining the mess we'd made of our relationship. We felt like we needed someone else to help us make heads or tails of our situation. At every session, Kathleen was kind, understanding, and professional. She focused on acknowledging and nurturing our individual personalities, so that we could do the same for the other person. Kathleen helped us find understanding, love, and humor throughout all our adventures and misadventures this past year, and I am so, so glad to say we are truly a changed couple thanks to Kathleen's services.
