Without a doubt the most caring and thoughtful vets we've ever used, these guys exceed expectations in care and support for both pets and owners, can not recommend enough, our dog loved going to see all the staff and we knew she was in good hands, they made a very difficult period for us so much better, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

You always feel like a friend as soon as you walk in. The Reception staff are beyond lovely and the care and attention your pets (and yourself! ) receive from both the excellent vets and super efficient, and caring nurses is second to none. What a fantastic, profession practice. The surgery is immaculate and for the staff nothing is too much trouble. Our dog has been in surgery with Bill Bowler today and I can only say what a brilliant, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring vet he is. Leaving your dog at the vet is always difficult but knowing that our dog is in such good hands makes all the difference. This is the only practice in the area that performs keyhole surgery. Using the skills of this practice means your pet gets the best surgeons doing the most appropriate surgery. An amazing set up!! The team Of staff should be proud of their practice. Liz More...

We signed our beautiful little kitties, Reuben and Smudge up with Rushcliffe vets recently and have to say they have been most welcoming and accommodating. Very friendly and professional, they made sure we had all the information we needed and ensured we fully understood the operations they were going to have and what the vaccinations were for etc.

You can tell immediately that everyone there cares for animals, (not like some other veterinary surgeries who just seem to want to rush you and take your money I'm sad to say) Everything was perfect, even down to the thank you card we received this week.

Cannot thank you enough for all of your help.

My lovely Collie Jamie was looked after by Bill and his staff from his puppyhood in January 2004 until the sad day in September when Bill came to my home, when we said goodbye.
I could not have received kinder service than that day, from Bill and the staff when I rang them to arrange everything.

Everyone has been amazing with us and with our gorgeous Cookie, through to her final day she was made to feel so welcome and loved by everyone and we felt a lot of support for us too through a very very difficult time. We wouldn't go anywhere else and feel so thankful to everyone at Rushcliffe for supporting Cookie and ourselves. Cookie loved everybody there and loved the fuss and care she got from everybody. Would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you to the vet that saw our rabbit last night, (i'm really sorry i can't remember his name) he also saw our dog last week, he was so thorough and clear with what he was saying and explained everything to us me well. He was brilliant with our rabbit too, unfortunately we had to make the sad decision to have him put to sleep but the vet was so kind and empathetic and made us feel as comfortable with the sitation as possible. The staff here are absolutely amazing with our rats. We switched to Rushcliffe after we lost confidence in our old vet and it's the best decision we've ever made. They truly care about all their patients, no matter how small, old or sick, and when we recently lost one of our ladies during surgery they were compassionate.

It's difficult to find a good vet for rats but I would trust Bill, John and Katherine with any of our number and we will continue to make Rushcliffe our number one for their care. More...

We used Rushcliffe Vets as our usual vet was closed and our black lab fell suddenly Ill, culminating in her needing to be put down. We cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. They stayed open past their opening hours and we were given as much time as we wished with our dog after the event. Small friendly local vet's, with a small car park out front. The staff seem knowledgeable and friendly. Best to phone first and make an appointment. There is a ramp up to the entrance for easy access with a wheelchair or pet. They do have a restroom. The seats are more like PVC benches, I am guessing so that they are pet friendly. More...

Cute pet Ginger went to Rushcliffe Vets, West Bridgeford, for a male castration. I was very worried because when he arrirved at my home he had known epilepsy, severe heart issues, squashed gut, liver and spleen and was blind. I need not have worried. They assured me that they had chosen the correct medication for his operation and that he should be able to pull through an epileptic seizure even if he had one during the operation. He did indeed have an epileptic seizure during the operation but bounced back home within 2 hours and has never looked back! Cute pet Ginger and his mum would like to say a big thank you. More...

Have been using The Rushcliffe Vet since about 2011. Wanted to use an independent vet, not a chain, and I have not been disappointed. Skilled and up-to-date vets, and friendly front of house staff. They offer the vaccination for life program like the chain vets do, so there's no excuse not to use them. These guys also don't upsell you to buy services you didn't go in for. More...
