We loved it here! Me and my family came here to originally do clay pigeon shooting. But because of the wide range of different activities they offer and the brilliant experience we had doing the clay pigeon shooting we ended up staying for go karting and air rifling and they were both just as brilliant. Everyone is so lovely and gets involved in the activities and makes it really enjoyable. It was a really pleasant experience at Rookin House and I can’t wait to visit here again! Cannot wait to visit again! We did a 1hr Quad Bike Trek & a Horse Riding Trek the following day. Both activities were super fun and staff were really welcoming, I was super nervous doing the horse riding as it was my first time but I felt so safe and staff really helped calm my nerves. During our quad bike trek we met the owner who was wonderful, he took us to a different route with amazing sceneries. I'll never forget this experience! More...

We did the quad biking it was brilliant I would advise anyone to try it at times the instructor could see I was worried so he came and helped me, his name was James very nice.

Rookin House is a lovely family run business and the best horse trekking stables I've ever been to.. The horses are lovely, all with their different personalities whilst also being super safe. It's a great place for kids to start learning to horse ride as it teaches them to ride out and about with a horse, dealing with the realities of riding in nature. The family who run the business are just lovely, fun and relaxed. I learnt to ride at Rooken House and about 25 years later I'll always be grateful for such a special introduction to the world of horses. Xx More...

This is a first class activity center. I took my 15 year old grandson quad trekking on Saturday and we had a great time. Mind you, the weather was perfect. We went last year in November, it rained most of the time, but we still had a brilliant day. There is plenty of other activities all on the same site. Well worth a visit. More...

I booked a 2hr trek for my very beginner self and my experienced girlfriend and by luck it was the stables she went to as a kid! The staff remembered her and the group was very mixed but we had a great time and came back for a private trek later in the week.Would highly recommend! More...

On a nice hot day it's an amazing trip, we drove quad bikes around the fields and we were driven in a giant tank looking vehicle, that was an experience. Then we did human bowling where I rolled across a field in a ball to knock over some barrels and it was fun but I had a banging head ache for ages afterwards More...

Stayed in the on site accommodation, which was massive (typically 2 bunk beds to a room). Relatively easy to get to with a fairly regular bus linking to the local train station. Was unable to use the dirt buggies we booked due to the high temperatures/dry ground, so ended up doing go karts. Karting was in a shed usually used to house horses, so best not to wear good clothes (overalls are provided). More...

We had a fabulous time here. We did the rally cross go-karting which was brilliant and adrenalin inducing like you wouldn't expect. Essentially this is go-karting on horse s**t, which isn't as bad as it sounds, and does involve sliding all over the place.
