You should ask for a signed contract from even the most reliable Roofing Contractor Minneapolis. In the contract they should specify everything from cost and payment to schedule and completion date. Make sure the project cost, including a reasonable deposit request, is in writing.

Snap did such an AMAZING job replacing my roof! I bought an old farmhouse and the roof was at least 30 years old...it leaked.
..it looked TERRIBLE and I felt awful that my neighbors had to look at it every single day!
Dan from Snap came to my house with shingle samples and within 15 minutes we had a plan to replace the roof.
The guys working on my roof got to my house in the morning and by dinner time they were finished and I had a BRAND NEW ROOF! I literally left for work and by the time I got home it was done!!
I can't say enough good things about Dan, Ryan, Jenna and everyone else who helped me out.
Next up...I'm having them replace my siding! :)

We had snap construction replace the roof on one of our new rental properties that we just bought. We just snap from the recommendation of one of our friends that had worked with them in the past. We had a great experience, they were very professional, upfront, and honest. The entire job took about two weeks and everything was finished on time, exactly like how it was planned out. It's been about a month now since they completed the roofing replacement and so far everything has been great, the workmanship is excellent. I do construction management for a living and I can confidently say that I would highly recommend Snap construction for your next residential project.
I was mostly impressed with the communication and professionalism that the individuals had. I actually went through the process of bidding out 3 different contractors for my attic insulation. While I will admit that snap was not the lowest bid (marginal difference), they were by far the most complete and comprehensive bid I saw. I knew what I was paying for and what I would get out of it. That is what you have to be careful of, contractors give you a vague scope at a low price, then jack up their rates on "changes". Not the case with Snap.
Field guys were extremely nice and professional. Both guys introduced themselves and told me what they were going to do and what they needed from me.
Long story short, give them a fair shot and have them quote your next project. Check their bid against competition and I'm confident in the end you will follow in the same path I did and choose Snap construction. The knowledge and upfront honesty is what I look for in my contractors both for work and my personal house. I will most certainly be using Snap in the future and hope you choose to also.

I have used SNAP in 2016 for both roofing and 2nd floor windows. I used them again this year for new vinyl windows on my 1st floor.
I ordered late in September and the project manager fit me in and gave me updates so I was left worrying about completion before cold weather.
I feel really comfortable working with the project manager and am very pleased with the windows. I have an 1880's era house and the windows they use have already made a tremendous difference in keeping my 1st floor much warmer. The installer even worked around some existing heavy furniture which is great because I'm 70.

Snap Construction helped with me a soffit, fascia and rafter overhaul on a 100+ year old home in Minneapolis. From consult to completion, it was a very positive experience.
Dan was straightforward in his consultation, but never salesy. There was no pressure. He very clearly outlined the project costs, deliverables and timelines. It was a simple, pain-free process.
Scheduling an exterior project in Minnesota in March/April time is tricky due to unpredictable cold and snow. Snap was appropriately communicative, with regular check-ins for scheduling.
From there, Dan and the Snap Construction Team delivered. Very simply, Snap Construction completed the soffit, fascia and rafter overhaul on time and on budget. The completed project looks great and the work is solid.
